I wanted something to catch all of the water my English Mastiff slops everywhere without the water soaking through to the floor. So far this mat does what I hoped it would do. I wish it was a little more non skid on the bottom, but I will try to find something to make it more non skid. I would order this product again

I wasn't expecting much for the price, but this is really nice. Exactly what we wanted to keep food and water off of our hardwood floors. When it arrived, it was folded up and the fold lines in it had not relaxed after a week of use under my dog's bowls. My OCD kicked in, so I had to figure out how to get rid of them. Quick fix---toss it in your clothes dryer for about 2 minutes---fold lines gone! Be careful though---this is rubber/plastic so it will melt if you leave it in too long. 2 minutes seemed to work for me.

I got this because of the description "Waterproof"...Yes, perhaps the mat is waterproof?But water easily permeates through the mat... which seems to defeat the purpose...Not sure if I simply got a lemon, or this is how this product is...It may possibly be better to have this mat than not... so I still give it 3 stars...I like the color as it does not collide with surrounding decor, and it doesn't 'scream' PET, but with it's very cute little paw print on the mat, it simply 'states' PET... if that makes sense.But if you are looking for something that is ACTUALLY waterproof... I would look elsewhere...

I actually purchased 2. I have one under my cat liter box, and it does catch the liter that comes off the cats feet. I also have one under my dogs water and food bowl. I am amazed at how it catches the water. Best thing ever! I would definitely recommend this.

Great Mat! This has saved our wood / laminate floors from buckling up from all the water our 4 dogs manage to slosh around when getting a drink.

I bought this for my 7month mini bull terrier as she dribbles water all over the floor. The size of the mat is great but she still manages to dribble on the floor, just not as much. The description reads this is non-slip and waterproof. Not true! The mat does not adhere to our cork floor and the water overage slowly soaks through the mat. I need to remove the mat once a day and dry the floor as well as back of mat so as to not damage the floor. Unfortunately, this is the best mat I’ve found so far but my search will continue.

My puppy is a very sloppy drinker. This mat helps with keeping SOME of the mess of off my floor. He still does have a tendency to walk away dribbling water all over the place, but at least the point of most water splashing is being handled. I really do love this mat for floor protection. The fact that it is water proof helps with ensuring the water evaporates on the mat and does not seep through under the mat to get the wood floors damp. I would highly recommend using this for pet's water dishes to anyone.

We have 2 labs that drink a lot of water and are sloppy eaters and this was perfect. I had a hard time finding a mat that was big enough for their water (we have one of the automatic water bowls with the jug of water that keeps filling the bowl) and both food bowls while still providing enough floor coverage to keep slop from getting all over the tile.It's non-slip which is also nice and it looks nice in the kitchen.
