No a perfect fit. But good enough.
The clamp tool did not work on my Herman Miller. The piston shaft was too small for the included clamps to work. Also the bottom of the tube sits mich lower and closer to the floor. This would have been a problem except for the fact that I put the roller blad wheels on it and theyvlifter it off the ground plenty.

Works but over hyped performances
Fit is good for a Aeron Chair but performance is just ok. Definitely should not be rated 450lbs, 250 lbs at best

Rings for removal of old cylinder do not fit.
The 2 included rings for removal of old cylinder are too big and will not clamp around the cylinder stem. They are even too big for the cylinder that ships with the kit, hence cannot be used if you ever want to remove the new cylinder. Disappointing as you pay for the parts, and not being able to use them means you'll be finding a large pipe wrench to remove the old cylinder from the seat base. Once installed, required adjustment of the Aeron chair set screw, but the product seems to work well and the "wobble" from the worn out cylinder is no longer an issue.

Great replacement
Easy install. I scoffed at the price, but this one fits better than the cheap $30 tube I installed in my Herman Miller Aeron about 6 years ago.

don't waste your $ on version with "removal tool"
The removal tool (2 collars that go on the pneumatic shaft, one is supposed to secure to the shaft, the other slides and helps remove the chair from the cylinder) is a joke.If they had engineered it properly, it *might* work. The better approach is skip the added cost, go to youtube and watch the (multiple) videos of people just using a pipe wrench to do this.Double-disappointing that they sell this (just include pipewrench instructions with the cylinder?!) AND the collars aren't the correct size to actually work!

took all of five minutes to install
Installed this replacement cylinder on my Aeron chair easily. Had to adjust the set screw at the actuator to the chair up/down lever using a separate hex wrench size. After a week it works perfectly.
