Doesnt charge the surface pro 2 while plugged in the dock station. Maybe works for a laptop but not this station. It will show plugged in but it wont charge.

Agree with other reviews. Plug does not insert fully. Not compatible. Waste of money

I've gone through so many purchases just trying to find the right cable that I was excited to see a product matching exactly what I needed. However, I went to purchase this product before it had the reviews and can confirm now with the other reviews this is indeed mislabeled. Don't buy it unless you want to be disappointed.

This item isn't for surface pro 2 dock station 1617. ** Do not by for surface pro 2 dock. I looked into it and it could work with pro 3& 4 dock but pro 3 power adapter will not worth with pro 2 dock stations.
