Pros:The tubing, suction cup clips, and connectors are good.The check valves work quite well in the forward direction. No resistance due to pushing on a spring.Cons:The check valves do not hold pressure. They add significant resistance in the reverse direction...but all 4 definitely leak.I am using a differential pressure sensor to monitor water depth in a holding tank. Over time, air in the pressure tube will dissolve into the water. Meaning the pressure will equalize over a given period of days/weeks and my sensor readings will be invalid. So, I must renew the air pocket in the tube periodically. My plan was to have an air pump burp water out of the tube, thus restoring accuracy of readings. I only need about 2-3 PSI to do that. I don't want the air pump running more than it has to, so I was going to use a check valve ensure that it didn't leak backwards while the pump was off. At these low pressures, aquarium gear should do the trick.I don't presently have a pump connected. I'm just blowing in the tube to simulate if a pump had run. Seconds later, I notice sensor readings are decreasing. I can watch the water rising into the tube as pressure inside decreases. It's quick enough that you can actually see the change. If I pinch the tube closed, I can get readings to hold relatively well.The check valve is not holding pressure. I have done the same thing with all 4 valves and they do not hold pressure. Do not use check valves made like this if you really require back-flow prevention. They will resist back-flow but they will not stop it entirely!!!

The product seems decent for the price and it gets the job done. My only gripe was that the hose is extremely soft so its hard to get it to push onto a air pump and some accessories, depending on the size of the outlet.

We used it for our pet turtle. It was just as explained, easy to install. It's a good value for the money.

Good quality, no complaints.
