Women's Active Winter Sports Outdoor Skiing Tech Softshell Pant

FINALLY!!! As a 5'11" woman I can NEVER find pants with a long enough inseam. I am beyond happy with this purchase. I would however recommend buying a size or so larger than you normally where as these pants do run a bit small. Normally, I wear a size 2 Long in American Eagle jeans/pants and a 3/4 Long in other brands of jeans/pants. After reading the reviews in which people were saying these pants ran small I decided to order a Size 6 and boy am I glad I did. They left me just enough room to wear layers underneath if need be. I have not had the chance to hit the slopes yet with these pants. However, I have been out in 15-20 degree temps with freezing winds and these pants kept me toasty and warm. I would highly recommend these Soft Shell Stretch Ski Pants. Though these pants may seem a bit pricey...Quality and a good fit for my body type are important and worth it to me. I will update my review once I have hit the slopes. Just remember ORDER A SIZE OR SO LARGER!!!!!

I am a long-time skier and have owned many ski pants over the years. By far, this is the best one I have owned. It is true to size for a 12 Pettite, high quality, very comfortable and stylish. On a very cold day, you may want to wear a thermal pants under it, but overall it is a fairly warm pair of pants. I highly recommend them!

I'm very pleased with these pants. They were exactly as described. Thanks to the customer reviews, I did order a size up and the fit is perfect. I am 5'5", 120 pounds, athletic build (lotsa squats, lunges and dead lifts to give me a defined lower half). I am usually a 26 or 2 in pants and went up to the size 4. The fit is perfect around the hips and thighs, slightly big in the waist but that will be good as you need some flexibility to tuck in a shirt or bend over to fiddle with boot buckles. I am an experienced and frequent skier and believe these will hold up well in New England ski conditions. Merry Christmas to Me! I would totally order another pair in a different color.

The size on these are way off! I have always worn an 8 or 10 at most, and I got a size 10. When I tried to put them on with some simple leggings I couldn't get past my mid thigh. No adjustable waist and the need for a size double which I am used to make this a frustrating purchase...plus cost of a return. Not chancing the increase of size because I don't know what size I should choose.

I love these pants, especially since I am on the short side. My only "dislike" is that it didn't have an adjustable waist band which would have warranted 5 stars.I wore them on a family ski trip and they held up great. They were comfortable, even after a long day on the slopes and I would definitely buy another pair.

The pants were a good length (I am 5'2") and the fabric was comfortable. Unfortunately, I have a small waist relative to my hips and so the fit was good in the hips but about 1 1/2 inches too big in the waist.. I could have worked with the pants if there was belt loops or a way to adjust the waist.. but the waist was fitted so didn't work for me.

I chose these pants because I thought they were going to be like my last pair, but I was disappointed. They are okay, but not soft like I was hoping. They make that obnoxious noise of stiff fabric rubbing together when I walk and move around. I bought them because I work outside in the cold every day and I need to keep warm and dry. Also, when you order these pants you are instructed to order a size larger than you would normally wear because they are supposed to fit tight. This is not the case. I really wish I had ordered my normal size because they are baggy on me. Like I said, they are okay, but not as good as the last pair I had which were brand "Vertical 9". Wish I could find more of those pants.

I'm glad I read other reviews. I'm a solid size-10, curvy. At 5'2 these are the perfect length for me for skiing. I am glad that I ordered a size up...the 10's would have fit too tight. I'm comfortable in the 12 with a thick under-layer or 2, thin layers. These repelled the water and kept me warm in 30 degree weather. However in "teen-degree" weather, even with a good base-layer, my upper thighs were cold while skiing...but it was a VERY cold day out. I have to say, that I do love these pants and would NOT trade for a warmer/thicker pair. I specifically wanted a soft-shell pant that was warm. That's what I got. If I'm going to ski in frigid weather, I'll just wear more layers next time. These are cute pants that fit just as pictured.
