PREMIER SEEDS DIRECT - Cucumber Carmen F1 (Greenhouse) - 5 Seeds - All Female

We have had, and still picking a superb crop of cucumbers this summer. Excellent quality of seeds, sealed in a foil sachet. I will be ordering these again next year. Would highly recommend this company fir the quality of its seeds.

Great seedsNever grown cucumber before,Will be buying these seeds again for next year. Very easy to grow,had on average about 2 cucumbers a week, family and friends have enjoyed them too.Still going strong and producing plenty. Very tasty 😋Fruit bags are a must tho forbeautiful crops.

I purchased seeds again as I was happy last year but this time was not came all seeds ad cucumbers plants was very bad small and yellow

Planted this out in June when we had the heatwave and unfortunately the leaves fried and it died. Pleased that I later I found another Carmen plant growing happily in the shade in a pot next to some salad leaves I'd planted. It has just produced its first cucumber growing larger everyday. Very long even when babiesSo it seems they do better in bright shade

This is my second purchase of these cucumbers as I was so impressed with them last year. Once the plants got going they produce non-stop till late autumn. No sign of the dreaded mildew all season. My only advice is, do not be tempted to start them too early. They like their warmth so, if you sow very late spring to early summer they will romp away. Long, straight cucumbers with a good flavour.

More male flowers than female disapointing

I bought two packets of these seeds, 10 seeds in all. When planted in good quality seed compost, the seeds germinated and grew well. However, when potted on they continued to grow and look healthy, but despite being described as an ‘all female’ variety, they produced very few female flowers and did not produce any fruit at all. A complete waste of money, compost and my time.
