Like a wearable fridge
So I have a very thin light hydration pack and putting the bladder directly in it was causing back spasms and warm water. Ew. It also was slouching down something awful. Enter the cooler bag- pouch stands up like a righteous man on Sunday, water was mouth numbingly cold even at mile 9, and I quickly forgot I was even wearing it. The thing is perfect- get one.

Looks like what i needed
I just received this product and haven't had a chance to really test it but based on experience it looks like what I needed. I have been using hydration bladders for years and for years I have used camelback bags. It gets really hot here and I do like cold water so in the past I have made my own sleeves from aluminized bubble wrap. To be sure - that really works and it just takes a little patience to get the right fit. I have one in my 3 liter camelback Mule right now. But I wanted to be able to use a bladder with an older Duluth rucksack and my homemade jobs were not making the cut. I looked at the camelback standalone bag and it looked interesting enough for me to go to a local retailer and check them out. Very nice bags - not a good fit for my pack but I would have liked one as a back-up bladder when I lived in the desert. I also checked out the Deuter sleeve - its really nice and I use Deuter and Osprey backpacks so I was really interested. It was too big - I really needed a slim two liter sleeve. Just got this little guy today. My two liter bladder is a snug but appropriate fit and it is an exact fit for my old Duluth rucksack. I am going to give it a try tomorrow. The center location for the tube exit looks like it will work well but it looks like it will be easy to route the tube out the side if need be. For the cost - this looks like a good value. Our heat index today is 102 with high humidity so tomorrow will be a good initial test for me. As a side note - it is too large to fit in my camelback rogue that I use when biking. The rogue does a good job of insulation so I didn't need it for that application but I tried it anyway.

Great Value For The Money!
I purchased 4 of these for the family, both 2L and 3L to cover our various sized water bladders inside our hydration packs for a hike in 100° weather. Application of the bag/sleeve around the bladders was super easy, and all fit well inside our packs.Water stayed cold and refreshing which was welcomed and needed! I also love that the package included visual aids showing what other uses these bags/sleeves can be used for. It sparked other thoughts for their use in the future.Things to note, completely removed the water bladders from our hydration packs, added ice, filled with water, then placed these bags/sleeves around the bladders, and re-installed into the packs. Less mess and less time spent overall. As a user test, I did not tell anyone I put these sleeves/bladders around the hydration packs, to see if they could tell a difference, and they all did. They wondered how the water stayed so cold, and awesome it was to have it that way in the heat. When I showed them the sleeves they were impressed! We love these so much, we've already recommended them to others.

This kept my water cool and enjoyable the entire time and the water stayed ...
This item was such a blessing at the Bonnaroo Music Festival. Usually, when wearing a bladder inside a clear backpack it gets hot really quickly. Drinking hot water at a festival is extremely unappetizing and can lead to drinking even less water, risking dehydration. This kept my water cool and enjoyable the entire time and the water stayed cool for hours. I'm very glad I bought this.

Well made!
Works great. Took a pair of these up Kilimanjaro with my son. We put in 2 air activated hand warmers in each to keep our water from freezing in the sub zero temps. If you plan to do the same, just remember to clear the tube by blowing the water back into the bladder after each use (otherwise you will have a tube full of ice).

Excellent cooler bag. Purchased two. Highly recommended.
Awesome cooler bag. It really keeps water cold. Filled water bladder with ice and went on a 4 hour hike. I didn't add water because I thought the ice would melt rather quickly. I was totally wrong. The ice barely melted. I should have added more water to it. Next time I will. The bag is really good because it can be used for more than just a water bladder, such as cold drinks, food, etc. It is well made and fit snugly in my pack. Highly recommended. I bought two; one for me and one for wife.

Very versatile!
As others have said, this is awesome for more than one thing! I smiled when I opened the package. It was quite obvious how handy this bag was gonna be to have cold water for our hikes and kayaking. Although my backpacks have insulated pouches, hubbys name brand does not, so this is a great addition for him!Very pleased and shocked this was not in my recommended items sooner.
