ECEEN Solar Hiking Backpack with Solar Charger Panel & Battery Pack

I really like this backpack, at 42 liters, for me, there's just not enough room for an overnighter. When you factor in, sleep system (hammock, tarp, bug net, suspension, top and under quilts or tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad), clothes, food, water, filter, cook system, first aid kit, etc.. there's just not enough space for all of that. So why the 5 stars? Why review this at all? To explain where I think this pack beats out a lot of other packs at. To hopefully help you decide if you want this pack. So this is where this pack excels at. I think it's an awesome companion pack. When I go out with my son or wife I'll carry the full tent, or their hammock and food. They're bringing along a 7W solar panel and a 10,000 Mah battery for our electronics which is awesome!I usually have to bring one of those anyways when I stay out a couple nights, because I do a lot of filming on my phone.This backpack has one of the best frame setups I've used. The way the air can blow through and against your back is awesome.My only complaint is the hip belt pockets, they're just too small. I can barely get a bottle of Purell in there.

I was excited to receive this bag. The prospect of being able to charge my phone via sunlight was intriguing. I used it as a carry on for a cross country flight and no less than three times did I use the zipper to have it break!!! This is a very poor quality bag and I am extremely upset for the price I paid for this bag to have the zipper break within the first use. I will never ever buy or recommend this company to anyone. Stay away!!!

I bought this pack a couple of years ago for hurricane season in case of a need to evacuate. There was no such need but I was able to use the solar phone charger and can testify how indispensable it was when there was no power for a couple of weeks. I think I could have easily handled the pack and wanted it to be structured without having an insane external frame. I hope to use it camping.

Fabric is so super thin. I doubt this will last more than a couple weeks of wilderness use.If you plan to really backpack find something different.

I brought it for my daughter in December 2017. I was tired of having to buy new bags throughout the school year since high school has so many heavy books. She loved it, was big enough to hold all her stuff. It broke yesterday september 2018.
