Perfect size for the job

Worked as expected. I would have rated it higher but one of the fixtures was cracked. It still worked, just cosmetic.

Build very well. Good Hardware for tying down the leads. Holes for mounting. Inexpensive.Perfect.

I wanted to install 4 garage LED ceiling lights but wasn't too excited to fish wire for new boxes. I just surfaced mounted extension cords to these lampholders but used liquid tape to cover the wire connection screws. OK, probably not code but I'm not worried about causing a fire or getting anyone electrocuted. I wouldn't do this for 60W+ incandescent bulbs because of the bulb heat. I screwed in deformable LED radar motion detection lights. Perfect solution!I could have run conduit for surface mounting but this is much cheaper, easier and less noticeable if your wire is the same color of the ceiling.

The Leviton lamp holder works perfectly for my project.

Quick and easy replacement!

Well, its a lightbulb holder-base-socket-thing. Im no electrition but I wanted to add a light inside a decorative piece I built. And it worked.Using this cord(http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HP8SUUM/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_3)it hooked up with the turn of a screw (I covered the keys with electrical tape so as to cover live wire) and secured it to the project through the holes in the base with wood screws. Added a flourescent bulb and done. easy, cheap, works - winner.

Careful tightening screws...they're BRITTLE. Trust me.
