Gets the job done, and lasts well without mushrooming or shedding bristles
This well-made brush is the ideal size for a lot of kitchen-sink cleaning jobs, which is what I bought it for -- scrubbing pots, scouring glassware my hand won't fit into, etc. After several months of use, the bamboo head has lost a little of its finish, but the tampico bristles have not spread or mushroomed at all, unlike any synthetic-bristle kitchen brush I've ever found, and it hasn't shed a single bristle. It's stiff enough to shift dried or burned-on food, but soft enough that you won't feel uncomfortable about using it on non-stick cookware.Seventeen months after purchase, I finally had to order a second brush as a replacement. Not because the first brush failed; it was still working fine and hadn't even lost any noticeable number of bristles. I had to replace it because my daughter gummed it up solid with melted cheese while trying to use it to clean out a mac-and-cheese pot, and I couldn't get the cheese out. The second brush quickly lost seven clumps of bristles all along one edge, but has not lost any further bristles since. Apparently the quality can be a little uneven.Eventually I got the cheese out of the original brush, but not too long after, both brushes disintegrated when the glue holding he head together failed. I ordered another replacement which, again, I used for quite some time before it disintegrated the same way.So: Overall, this is a very good brush for the job, the bristles won't splay like plastic-bristle brushes do, and it will last quite a while. Eventually, the glue holding the head together is going to give up and it'll fall apart. This may be sooner, it may be later. The quality can be a bit erratic. But it's still a better deal, and works better, than any plastic brush.

It was very nice while it held together
It was very nice while it held together, but it didn't last very long. The brush portion split off the handle after a few weeks of use.

Good brush - my usage was slightly different
I went on a hunt for new brushes for cleaning vehicle interiors ( door panels, door sills, kick panels ).The only complaint I had is the direction of the bristles, on this version they are on a slight outward angle, where the Natural Home similar brush Natural Home 50001 Bamboo Sink Brush the bristles are straight.Depending on what you are after, the angled brushes will still scrub, but if you need serious scrubbing action go for the Natural Home version. The bristles being straight will stand up to a bit more pressure ( the Lola version, when you press down, the angled bristles push out ).I still use this brush depending on what I am doing ( have them both why not ), but when I have to lean into a brush to scrub a door panel, I go for the Natural Home one. This brush puts up with a lot of abuse in the garage cleaning vehicles, used with 10:1 diluted APC the bristles are still fine, head has held up well.If you are looking at this brush for the intended use ( kitchen ) do not hesitate, if it can stand up to what I am using it for, unless you are standing on the pan for leverage to clean it, this brush would do the trick. Heck I would guess even if you are standing on the pan to hold it still it would still hold up :D

Pretty good but...
I am not quite used to the angle of the handle or the way the long bristles come straight out. I mean, the old dish brush had bristles that came out at different angles which made scrubbing the sides of kettles and the insides of tall glasses easier. With this dish brush, I have to turn my wrist a bit more, which is not really a big deal unless you have some carpel tunnel or tendonitis or something such. Other than that, I like the feel of the bamboo handle, I like the natural look of the brush, and the bristles seem to be holding up very well. I REALLY appreciate the fact that this brush is made of bamboo which is so environmentally responsible. Even though it is taking me a little time to get used to it, I would definitely purchase this dish brush again. UPDATE: This dish brush got fairly heavy use for two months then the handle came off. The bristles are soft which was great for cleaning nice dishes, however not stiff enough for getting the pots and pans clean if food had dried on them or burned on. The cheap plastic (ugh)dish brush I had before worked for a year. This lovely bamboo (yeah)worked for two months. Hummm... Not sure which way I will go when I purchase a new one.

Not Worth the Money
I have the bottle brush to match this, and I love it. I needed a dish brush too, so I figured this one would be perfect, especially since it's more visually appealing than many other wood handle brushes. My brush shipped with two large books, so that might not have been the best since this item doesn't come in a box or anything. When I received it, the bristles were already tousled and many of them were falling out. I immediately started the return process, but since it was around Christmas and I felt bad about the cost Amazon would incur for me shipping this back, I decided to just try it out. After the second use, it started shedding like crazy. Even if it was put under undue stress being jostled around with books during shipping, I expect the quality to be a little more, especially since it's made for scrubbing. I returned it and will likely get a wood handle Lola brush instead.

Quality has dimished since last purchase ~2 years ago
The quality of these brushes is far inferior to previous purchases of same item. I compared it to an unused one I still have on hand from an earlier order. The heads are ~1/3 smaller in diameter and wood finish on handle isn't smooth. The handle is also a little bit more narrow, the thumb rest is also smaller, and the sides of the thumb rest are straight rather than rounded as they used to be. I didn't bother trying one after comparing it . It may clean well enough, but in terms of quality it isn't the brush I thought I would be receiving. All 5 I ordered are being returned.

Dishes are clean!
Scrubs tough food off of plates and cookware after I’ve soaked them a bit. Sometimes the bristles aren’t tough enough for the real tough food, but it takes care of most of the mess. Note: DO NOT LEAVE THIS SUBMERGED IN WATER! Hubby left it in a cup and the brush part popped off! A quick dry and superglue, and we were back in business.

Awkward
It looks nice, but it is awkward to use. The brush head is quite large and doesn't work for a lot of items. The bristles are quite rough and come out easily. I'm also finding that despite me keeping it dry when not in use, the wood is beginning to look like it's seen better days.
