Perfect solution to adding karaoke to my pre-existing home theater setup
I'm not knowledgeable on the subject of PA systems, or microphone/concert audio, so I had no idea what a "mixer" was or that they even existed. I had a very nice 5.1 home theater setup and wanted to start doing karaoke nights, but wasn't sure how to do it. My original plan was to buy a separate PA system just for the microphones (I wanted 2 mics), but then I found out about karaoke mixers. This mixer is perfect for home use. It's small, but has everything I wanted to add karaoke to my home theater. My setup works like so: I have an Xbox One running YouTube via an HDMI cable into the RAKOIT mixer. From the mixer HMDI output another cable runs into my 5.1 receiver, and then finally from the receiver to the TV. I use my smartphone to select karaoke songs through YouTube and then send them to my Xbox. For microphones I'm using two AKG D8000M's.I couldn't be happier with this mixer. It has integrated into my 5.1 home theater system seamlessly and works perfectly. I don't get any feedback, noise, or static in my audio and the unit itself seems to be well built. Volume controls for both microphones and for the music allow you to get your levels exactly where you want them. Highly recommended.

Hdmi in/ out works with home theater receiver
So far so good. Still testing it. Hdmi in and out works with my receiver and projector and roku. I Was having problems with karaoke machines with no hdmi. Couldn't hook it up to my home theater receiver. But this one works.. Just wished they put mic input in back instead of front. It's ugly.

Works fine...but
Works real good, real decent quality. But, there is a fairly loud humming when not using any mics, mics are unplugged. Kinda goes away and comes back quite often.

More capable than most karaoke mixers
First of all this thing has a nice look and finish to it; Very sleek. It features the same controls as most karaoke mixers: Main source volume, volume for microphones 1 and 2 and echo level control. The big step up with this is supporting HDMI with resolution all the way up to 4K (3840x2160). And because it's HDMI you not only get better video but audio as well (since audio is pretty much the important part of karaoke). It still features standard composite input/outputs like other mixers if you need to connect to systems that don't have HDMI. The only drawback I found is the earphones (which is spelled incorrectly on the product) volume is less than what I'd find useful...I've used two Pyle PDMIK1 microphones with it and they worked fine.
