Harry Potter Music Box (Buy only from Greenorganicme in seller list)

It took a while to come, but that's OK for the price.It didn't sound right when I first tried it to surprise my wife, which was a bit disappointing. When I opened it up to show her the HP logo, it was VERY faint. The outside decoration is more defined, but it just generic, and not related to Harry Potter in any way.When I checked it out, the forks inside were all bent at one end, so it had no low notes. I'm fairly competent, so I took it apart and gently straightened and flattened all the pieces, before the tedious task of putting it back together in EXACTLY the right place so the teeth caught and it aligned correctly. If I wasn't so competent in fixing things, this would have been a really disappointing gift for my wife, and would have been sent back or thrown away.It now works fine, but isn't very Harry Potter-ish to look at.These should at least check that these work before posting them out. A shame.

Beautifully packaged, this exquisite little wooden music box belts out the Hedwig's theme at the turn of a mechanical handle. Simply magical and enchanting and IMHO guaranteed to delight any Harry Potter fan (or lover of the John Williams theme tune)

It has a horrendously loud 'squeak' when turning the handle, almost louder than the music notes. It also seems to not play the song properly, missing a few notes in important parts?Sad, because it is an adorable box and a lovely idea... I just dread to think of disappointed gift receivers getting one that sounds horrible, squeaks like heck or just doesnt work.

I love my music box. It looks quite magical. It has a gorgeous little sound and in tune. It fits in the palm of my hand. A must buy for any Harry Potter fans. Beautiful little music box that made a great present!!! The perfect little gift. It’s really excellent and just magical. So cute, this is one of my favorite things I've ever bought. Would highly recommend this for any Harry Potter fans!
