Good quality, functional
I actually bought these for my refrigerator to use as ice cube trays, to replace the plastic ones. I don't like plastic. These are fairly thin stainless steel, but the shape makes them rigid. Size is as advertised. Quality is good, rolled edges are nice, no sharp edges. Only a minor amount of polishing residue which can be removed with acetone. Looking at them, they would also make great loaf trays, which is really what they are intended for. And actually they would work great for storage bins and other miscellaneous uses. I will probably buy more.

Two nice extra long, good value stainless steel loaf pans
These loaf pans are larger than the one I inherited from my grandmother that I have used to make meatloaf in for decades (and her for decades before me). However, I am not very good at noticing dimensions in reviews. I got TWO loaf pans in this order with each one measuring 12.3"D x 5.4"W x 3"H and that is a really good size and longer than the loaf pan I have used for meatloaf for years and for making the occasional loaf shaped cake like pound cake. So as long I pay attention to recipes and adjust for the extra length these will work great. I also think they are a tremendous value for 2 for under $15! These will work for meatloaves (though note they don’t have handles so if the contents one puts in the pans is heavy one probably needs to put these loaf pans on a sturdy cookie sheet pan to get them in and out of the oven without dropping them). I love the stainless steel because is quality that will last forever, is dishwasher safe, and I don’t have to worry about a non stick coating flaking off and getting into my food or making me or my family sick. Plus I love that stainless steel pans can hold up to having the food made cut inside them with a metal knife or spatula and not be worried about cutting into or damaging the non stick coating because there isn’t one! The stainless steel is a little thin next to some pans but I don’t mind because they are lighter weight to put away. Also for those wondering these are oven safe up to 450 degree Fahrenheit. Which should be plenty of heat for most meatloaves, side dishes, loaf cakes, coffee cakes, and side dishes. I feel so excited I just got 2 new loaf pans and can now make duplicate exact sizes of thing. Perfect for making gift loaves of bread or pound cakes or even taking a meatloaf to someone’s house to help out and still having another one at home until they return your pan. I may be getting old because I am seriously excited about these pans! 😆 Just make sure to use a Pam type non stick cooking spray for an easy release of what ever you make in them. They are so nice looking and shiny too! My old one looked like it had been through combat and I couldn’t scrub it hard like I these because my old one had a non stick coat and that is of no concern when scrubbing a stainless steel pan. I highly recommend these!

Very nice extra large loaf pan
This is a really nice loaf pan for baking a large loaf the same size as what you'd buy at the grocery store. The stainless steel seems to conduct heat well resulting in even cooking. I made my first loaf of bread in it today, the first picture is the loaf after proofing, second is fresh out of the oven. I used a silicon pan liner which was actually sized for the smaller loaf pans so it left the corners unprotected. In my third picture you can see where the unprotected corners are basically the same color as the top. Fourth picture is the pan after removing the bread and before cleaning. As you can see there was no sticking of dough in the corners, for future bakes I'm going to skip the silicon liner and just do a light coating of butter or cooking spray in the pan. Cleanup afterward was super simple, just a bit of water and dish soap, there was basically no residue in the pan other than some of the butter I spread over the top of the loaf which then dripped down into the corners. For a stainless steel pan of this size, the price is very good, I now wish I'd gotten the two pan set rather than the single as that's an even greater value. All in all I love this pan and see myself getting a lot of use from it.

No handles but otherwise very nice loaf pans
This stainless pan looks to be good for both meat and bread. Being a baker bread wins over beef. Note the pan lacks handles so taking care is required to remove them from a hot oven without burning your fingers. The lack of handles is the sole detracting feature I could find in these otherwise excellent loaf pans. This 12” x 5” stainless loaf pan is 1.6x the volume of a standard American loaf pan. My standard loaf is 1.5 pounds which means this loaf should be 2.5 pounds if the density is to be constant. Keep this in mind. The loaf in the photo above is 3 pounds so is a bit more dense than typical for me. Protein tends to stick to cold stainless so I recommend using a vegetable oil spray to minimize sticking. This is a very nice pan which I can recommend you consider if looking for a larger baking pan. Enjoy!

Super large bread pans!
I was very pleased with the quality of these loaf pans. I did notice a little bit of warping on one of the sides, but it stretched back out pretty easily so I wasn't too concerned. The thickness is comparable with a good quality steel cake pan and they provide a good even heating.I didn't realize just how large these bread pans were, but I was pleasantly surprised. They are about the size you would expect when you go to the store for a loaf of sandwich bread, so you get a really good sized loaf out of this. I had no problem with sticking when making banana bread and potato bread, but I did grease the pan first before baking. Thanks to nothing sticking to the pan, it was very easy to clean. All in all, these are wonderful pans. The current listing price is an exceptional bargain for these pans, too. They really are stainless steel, not prone to rust as some of the cheaper pans are, and they hold up well in the oven. Very sleek and beautiful looking, too!
