PK01-VS red dot sight is an extremely low and centerline red dot that cowitnesses when the rear sight leaf is set on 1. PK-01 VS is the best of the "combloc" tube based red dots on the market with also night vision compatible on the lowest of the 8 brightness settings.Collimator rifle scopes are modern, light-weight, simple to operate, serviceable. The aiming mark of collimator rifle scopes - a well seen on any background red spot - enables to conduct aiming under different illumination conditions (day-light illumination, in the twilight or in complete darkness in combination with night vision googles). Rifle scopes are hermetically tight and filled with dry nitrogen to avoid weeping of optics due to temperature differences. Interesting.
Optic is as described-A couple of points of interest-Everything seems in order on/about the actual optic, it’s rock solid and user friendly, it came with everything but the manual. Here’s my oddity: I received an optic with the serial of #000085 this was strange to me to receive such an incredibly low serial and I contacted Kalinka who stated that when they started importing/distribution in 2015 they were already at 50k+ in serials. They also stated that an accompanying manual, with hand stamp and individual serial should accompany the optic. I did not receive this and when I made my concerns known to the seller Mgvalt I was assured the product was legitimate and was told I’d be emailed the shot card/manual.Overall I’m happy with the optic but wished I’d had the physical manual with corresponding serial,,, I guess I’ll live.

Very Nice, (just as I had hoped)
100% Satisfied. The only downside was getting the threads to line back up on the battery compartment. I have a feeling that I am not the first to experience that, but this is a great red dot for your AK weapon.

Good glass. Fits WASR great.
I’m a fan. Fits great on the WASR side mount with no adjustments needed. At the highest brightness setting the reticle casts a ring around the outside of the lense but there’s no reason to run it at the brightest setting as it is very bright. Holds zero OK so far and lower 1/3 cowitness works as it should. The brush was broken and the lenses were very dirty when I unboxed it but it just took a Quick wipe down with a microfiber to clean it off. Also did not come with the manual which I was really hoping to get.

Love this
Fits my 74 perfectly. Low profile and sits in line with the bore. Dot is adjustable but very brute on highest setting.

Awesome
Awesome red dot, I find this better then kobra from axion. I had yo do no adjustments it was zeroed right out the bag. If I had to use the adjustments it comes with a tool but a flat head screw driver works too.

In bright sunlight the dot is almost non-existent
I had high hopes for this red dot sight. Unlike other Soviet/Russian optics it sat low on the weapon, was centered on its axis, and was relatively light weight. The problem is that in bright sunlight the dot on maximum setting is very, very tiny. Thinking it might’ve been due to a weak battery (I was grasping at straws) I installed a new AA and the dot was still tiny. Two things I don’t understand:1) The Russians can put the first man in space but can’t manufacture a useable red dot?2) How in the hell can ANYONE give this optic a good review when it’s doesn’t even outperform a $119.00 Chinese red dot?
