I believe that all cars should have a dashcam to capture those moments that are purely "He said, she said". I have a few cars and purchased this and its working as advertised. The menus were nothing fancy and hence not hard to understand. I see that some of the menus are not written well but its common sense.Its a great camera and I left it on the windshield when the temp was 93 degrees outside and I am sure it was it was a lot hotter in the car and the suction mount and the camera held up for. I did kill the micro usb card I had as it was not UL rated and for now I am using a small capacity Samsung UL rated card so lesson learned!I read some reviews of people saying that the manual was tiny but if you look at the attached picture along with an S6 phone you can see that its not small at all (maybe the updated the print).In the car this dashcam is in I don't mind the size and in fact purchased the 4" one instead of the 3" to get the screen real estate so that it can be easily used and everything is large enough.AMS

My husbands truck is parked outside our house since we only have 1 car garage. We purchase this camera so we can look back and see what’s going on while we are asleep. This camera has a motion detector that activates recording once it sense any movement whether the car is moving or even just park. I am very happy about this purchased. Now we know who to blame when we find scratches around our vehicle.

First of all the video image is good and the touch screen works well, but on the two cameras I have, the batteries do not charge when in use or when I plug them into the computer or a usb charger. On one camera the battery does not even last long enough to shutdown the final video properly. On both of the cameras, the factory reset does not seem to work so that I can go in and change some of the settings I was able to make on the first of my camera., I cannot set the time stamp on one and (most of all) I cannot go in and change the file format from .mov to .avi on either camera.

I have done some research before I made this purchase I like it. big screen and easy menu. I have tested it in both day and night looks good

Almost everything about this device was good. Until after using for a day it keeps asking to format the sd card. By doing so erases all previous recorded files, making it useless to have the dash camera. it will not restart recording unless you do the formatting. I asked for replacement dash camera to send to me hoping that next one will not have the same problem. There was another review with someone that had exact same problem. I do not recommend this dash camera for this reason.

The item was sold to me with out a memory card. It useless. Why would some one not mention that.
