The dash camera comes in a pretty nice package. The video quality is perfect! It was easy to install and the interface is very user-friendly. The dash cam worked as advertised, as the cam locked the video when I got into an accident the other day. I kept getting compliments on the video quality from everyone in the company and now they want one of these.

The touchscreen is a great benefit and allows easy navigation through the various options. This dash cam works as I expected. The rearview camera is also a very nice bonus. Also, the front and rear cameras provide great detailed videos of your surrounding even at night.To be honest, it is a bother to remember when to place this thing on record and some of you may always be continually worried that you may get one day that you forget to turn on this car camera. Well, in this case, this dash camera can completely help you. Once you start your engine this thing begins to record and will continue recording deleting older records to make room for new ones. That’s why there isn’t anything to worry about and here’s what I liked about the dash cam.1. It has the widest with IPS touchscreen, the screen is big and very clear. I’ve seen for dash cams and one of the main reasons I bought this IPS dash cam.2. There are 2 cams, front and back. Also, the rear camera is waterproof.3. It has a G-Sensor in case your car is bumped, it will also auto to lock the video.4. Super easy to install and use.5. The quality of the image at night was remarkable and awesome, very clear.6. The wide angle camera produces clear video shots.7. Very reasonable price.

Unboxing & preliminary set up review (not yet installed into vehicle). Upon unboxing, the dash cam feels well built, is easy to use and set up, though some things are confusing. In the "manual", item 13, IPS Brightness, I've yet to find it; USB Mode says there are three modes, and describes them, but doesn't mention what that are (example: "1 Select this mode enables to save the video and picture files" - no mention what that mode is). USB cable connector is of the type used 13 years ago (that's the age of the camera I have that uses the same connector), a USB Mini-b (5-pin), though there's no real reason to use it as transfer speeds are less than 7 MB/s -- better off removing the micro SD card and using an SD card reader. VIdeo quality looks to be pretty good. Will be installing into my vehicle tomorrow.

As in other reviews, the touch screen menu makes it easy to disturb the aim of the camera, but it's easy to reposition. I found it difficult to figure out how to turn off the annoying LED light, but I think that I've got it now. Even though I didn't lock any recordings, they apparently filled up the memory card, which required either deleting or formatting the card to remove them. It does start and stop automatically with the ignition when plugged into a supply that turns off with the ignition switch. The picture quality seems good, but I haven't yet viewed it on my computer, just with the screen on the device, which is large enough to get a decent view.

The box is fairly generic which is fine by me. Well protected within it.The suction mount is quite strong but the plastic arm that holds the camera is fairly weak, I’d be shocked if it survived an sort of impact. I didn’t have a lot of expectations for is as this is one of the cheapest dash cams on amazon.I liked that it recorded front and rear cameras and unless you hooked up the red wire to your reverse light it did not have “backup” lines on the rear camera which worked well for how I wanted to use it, monitoring back seat passengers. The rear camera has what look like 4 LED’s on it, but they don’t seem to turn on.The touch screen is really clear, I like that you can you can turn it black if you don’t want to see it while driving. Also it’s fast and you don’t have to press really hard on it.There is a lame “white” light on the front of the camera that turns on at night time. I don’t see any reason for it to be on, except maybe to tell you that it’s recording if you looked at it from outside of the car. It’s not a infrared light.The biggest problem I ran into was that it generates so much interference that my car radio did not work at all. Part of the issue I believe is that the vehicle (2017 Explorer) has the radio antenna run along the top windshield glass. This is becoming very common in modern vehicles. So when I first installed this I went out for a drive and noticed I couldn’t hear the radio, we were having solar flares at the time and chalked it up to that. Same thing the next day. So I pulled the rear camera wire down from where it was tucked into the headliner and I could hear the radio again, not very well but more than before. I unplugged the unit and the radio was back to 100%. I’m not sure if this would effect satellite radio or not. Also, if you have an external antenna it may be fine, I wasn’t able to test that. I wasn’t willing to give up my radio for a dash cam is what it came down to. If the wiring was shielded, it might have worked.The video quality is decent, it says 1080P. You most likely won’t be able to read a license plate off of it on another vehicle unless you’re fairly close behind it.Something very annoying if you need to remove your SD card (not included) is that you basically need tweezers. The slot isn’t spring loaded so you need to find a way to get it back out.For the money it’s a great value, just didn’t work for me unfortunately due to the radio interference.

Purchased 3 , 2 of which started to not hold charge after a few days of use ...

Update since this review posted... touch screen is completely dead now. Shame.Was optimistic about this dash cam system. Great price for a front and rear camera system. But the rear camera is low definition. The pictures I uploaded show how the recorded image looks like for front and rear. The front image is good and appears to be HD. You can make out the plates and road signs, but the rear is not very good. Night video was good. But picture definition is definitely degraded in low light conditions. I could have lived with the quality of the rear camera, until the touch screen started to malfunction. The included pic shows the lines that appear and the words on the screen are illegible. Luckily this has not affected the quality of the actual video recordings. But I'll see how long this will last.
