Sandler Success Principles is stuff that works
A great new book from the David and Bruce was released today. I got an advanced copy, and read it straight through over the weekend.This book is the perfect companion to the other teachings. If you haven't read the rules book or the bike book, then pick those up too.Overall, David and Bruce teach you to improve your communication and sales skills by improving 3 areas, your attitude, your behavior, and your technique. This book is all about attitude. How do you keep yourself in the right frame of mind so that you can communicate clearly and get the successful results you want, consistently over time.Their other books will tell you how to be successful. This book will tell you why you will be successful. These crucial insights are often the determining factor between success and failure. It not what you say or how you say it. It's about why you said it, and where your head and heart were at when you said it.It is a heady concept, but just read the book. It is an easy read and well worth your time. Then take the action steps and make them a part of your routine and system for continuous and long term success.Good luck!

Great self-help book for salesman and everyone else.
This is an easy to read book, i finished it in a 4 hour flight. Half of the insights are common knowledge, but the other half are very interesting. Here are some samples of the interesting insights:The idea of the separation of inner and outer world was presented in an easy to understand analogy. No one can enter your castle without your permission, we are hurt if we allow our outer world hurt us.Few people are winners and few are real losers, but "at-leasters" are the worst kind of us. The Mr. and Mrs. Average. Those who are not great but not losers too. Beware of this zone, which has hit so many of us without recognizing it.We are affected with 3 tapes: Parents tape, who either critical or nurturing; Child tape, that craves within us being childish all the while, and the adult tape, which is the most logical and correct.Attitude, Behavior, and Technique are the 3 elements that create our own success.How can we use all these insights to our advantage? Read the book.

Life Changing
I bought this book as a sales tool since the training classes are bit pricey. What I got was not just a lesson in better salesmanship, but instead, several lessons on healing the past and overcoming negative self beliefs that hold us back in professional and personal areas of life. Sandler is a gifted counselor cleverly disguised as a sales guru. I am forever grateful to his research and insights into healing the human condition. I know I have more confidence to close more sales and making more money because of his powerful principles.

Good easy read very good concepts
Good easy read very good concepts...Having never been exposed to Sandler I though I would give this a try first. I have been in sales professionally for over 20 years and read a ton of books on the subject as well as having taken training courses. There is new information/concepts that I was able to learn from and that were new to me and that was refreshing considering most sales books on the market are re-hashing of the same material and just packaged differently.

Change Your Thinking, Your Scripting, and your Behaviors For Sales Success
This book does a good job of encapsulating some key concepts of Sandler Sales Institute's approach to business communication and personal development. While not a substitute for Sandler training and coaching, there are dynamic principles here that can get the serious sales student well on the way to success.

Succinct and Beneficial
I recommend Sandler Success Principles because I appreciate content that is succinct and beneficial. This isn't a deep dive into the Sandler methods/rules. Rather, it's a high-level primer for the uninitiated or a good reminder for those familiar. Either way, it can help you to renew your perspective and give you tools you can start using immediately. All this in a quick read 136 pages.

Is a good book. The psychological focus of selling is important in this book, and that is also what I like at it.

Is the secret of success 66?
The Hitch Hikes Guide to the Galaxy answered the answer to the meaning of life. After travails with his towel, Ford Prefect & Marvin, Arthur was almost disappointed and certainly underwhelmed to discover the answer is 42.The Sandler Success Principles has more managed ambitions but can more confidently claim the answer to success in sales, if not in life, is 66.Why? 66 is the cumulative total of adding together the 11 sharp insights "that will change the way you think and sell". A very easy read, it adds further reinforcement to the Sandler training and coaching ambitions to build sustained, meaningul and practical change for ambitious and open-minded business owners and executives. But it also stands alone as an introduction to a psychological (near philosophical) framework developed by David H Sandler, whether or not you then choose to hunt out your nearest Sandler training centre.Largely clearly written (it packs a lot into 142 short pages)it explains, offers a practical guide to personal reflection behind each principle, and draws it all together into the importance of melding technique with behaviour and attitude. Indeed behaviour and attitude are confirmed as the real key to success in selling (not just the ability to master technique) but also personal self control and focus to your life ambitions and goals.The book therefore builds cumulative impact. Each principle can stand alone, their power is cumulative and success is determined by how well you can claim to live by each 11 - so that 1+2+3+4+5 and so on.Read this. Then read The Sandler Rules. If you are then moved to read Sandler's "You can't teach a kid to ride a bike at a seminar" it will be time to google for your local training centre and you will be ready to take the step and join the club.

Excellent introduction to Sandler rules
Excellent introduction to Sandler rules. They are guide rails to remind us when and what we might do to self-sabotage or get in our own way. When applied, very effective
