Game changer for ice bath
My winter outdoor ice baths were horribly painful on my feet. Water has ranged from 35 to 40 degrees. Now that I have these on my feet I can last much longer in the water. The glued seams are a plus; No water leakage on the seams. Easy on and off. My 5MM surf booties are hard to get off when wet so these are perfect for my ice bath needs. I wear a size 11 shoe and the XL fits perfect. The grip on the bottom is adequate. These are socks not booties, sole is soft.

Excellent made. Extremely durable!
Note on size: I wear a 12, and yes there is no size here for 12.I bought the X-Large anyway to rtry them. They do fit, but very difficult to get on and off.So yes, they can be used for a 12 but it's made for a 11, keep that in mind. They do stretch a little, but not as much as you may think. So if your an 11.5 they should be fine. These things are WELL MADE. I seriously assumed they might rip trying to get them on, knowing I would ruin them. And no I won't be returning them. I will be passing them on to another with smaller feet. These things are freakin awesome, just wish they made an XXL or something a bit larger for us 12's.Very impressed with how well they are made. I bet they could sit on a highway and get ran over by 18 wheelers for a month straight before they even started to break apart. Amazing craftsmanship!

one of three pairs had ripped seams. Buy one size up
I bought one pair and it lasted a solid year before I wore a hole in the bottom of these socks. The second pair I bought had ripped seams in the stitching near the ankle, so water got in immediately. I did a return and forgot to send back the ripped ones, so I needed up paying for a third pair; that's my own fault. The third pair has held up well and is exactly what I needed.I'd suggest buying one size larger than you think you need. My boots are 11.5 US and I bought size Large, but they're pretty darn tight and cut off circulation for the first few days of wearing them. After about 2 weeks, they stretch out enough to be comfortable. I wear these inside muck boots for when I am really knee-deep in water; keeps my feet dry, if not a little sweaty.

Good cheap socks for wading
I use them for wet wading (fly fishing)just to clarify 1 thing, Neoprene socks DO NOT keep you dry, they keep you super warm. I live in Colorado, and fish year round in small mountain creeks that feature snow melt, so the water is absolutely FRIGID (even in the summer)These socks allow me to spend 8 hours fishing, while wet wading. At the end of the day my feet are not cold, however just to put it in perspective, the absolute longest I can stand in that water without neoprene socks is 3 to 4 minutes. Seriously, these things make a difference. They are cheap, so i don't feel bad when they get shredded ( i wet wade with teva sandals instead of wading boots)All neoprene is difficult to put on and especially remove when it's wet. There are a few tricks that I learned after a lifetime of scuba diving -- use soap. Bring a water bottle filled with warm water and a tiny amount of dish soap with you. This makes putting them on SUPER easy, and when it's time to remove them it helps a lot too.Otherwise my advice would be to roll them off, don't pull them off. Ultimately you want to go with the right size, which means it will be challenging to put them on and remove them. Just accept it, and learn how to do it, it's not that difficult

They worked
They worked good enough for what I needed them for. My toes still got pretty cold after a while but they did help. I have wear a 7 to 7.5 shoe and bought size small. They were kinda hard to get on but fit great once they were on.

They work for ice baths.
I needed something to keep my feet from freezing off during my ice baths. These worked perfectly. I stayed in a 33° ice bath for ten mins and my feet never got cold. I can use them in the lakes in the winter too. Great product and I'd buy again. I got a large and I am a women's size 10. The are just slightly longer than my feet but I'm betting the medium would be too small. They are challenging to remove after they are wet.

My third pairs
I swim in SF Bay every morning. They keep my toes toasty warm while swimming. My regular shoe size is woman 6-6.5. This socks I usually buy Small, and fit perfectly.

Just what I was hoping for
A little tight to put on first couple times but they do stretch a little bit after that. I wear these under my paddling pants with neoprene pants if I don’t go full wetsuit. I wear booties or kayaking boots over them for added foot warmth. Honestly thought my feet would get way too warm but surprisingly haven’t experienced that at all. I bought 2 pairs, might get another cause I paddle a lot. I’ve used them about a dozen times thus far, no quality issues whatsoever so far. What I like most versus the other neoprene socks I saw on Amazon was they don’t have this rubberized sole intended to be worn on their own. Frankly I’d just wear booties instead if I wanted to walk around in them. But the sole is lightly textured so they work great under booties and aren’t super bulky.

Decent quality, works well
The fit is firm and snug. I have a US size 10.5 foot (usually for Euro size 44.5 fits best, sometimes 45). If I measure from the tip of my toe to the furthest point of the curve of my heel, that is 10.5”. I ordered size XL and it just fits. I think if your foot is any larger the sock will be too snug. Also removing can be a bit of a struggle since the cuff is fairly snug. Therefore, I think it might not be appropriate for someone with bigger feet than a US 10.5, but I could be wrong. That said, for me, the XL is perfect. And the sock performs very well. I wear it inside an ankle-high neoprene boot for swimming and surfing in 8 degree C water and so far it seems warm (after only 1 swim, will update this review later). The sock could be worn on its own for gentle activities where it won’t come in contact with sharp rocks, barnacles or scuffed on concrete, but it doesn’t have a hard sole so I would only do so with caution.

Socks function as intended
It took a bit of effort to put the socks on, but they fit based on the indicated size chart. Think of these similar to a wet suit for scuba diving, it needs be snug in order to keep you warm. They did a good job at keeping my feet warm in 5 degrees Celsius temperature.Make sure you read the sizing chart and measure your foot to confirm needed size before ordering.

Good product for the price. Have had for 2 months and still in good condition
I use these for polar dips. Help keep feet from having pain. They work great, dry out easily. I would recommend them.
