Bead Embroidery Techniques - Volume 1 Bezels

I’ve been a fan of Jamie’s since I started doing bead embroidery in 2007. This book has been on my wish list since it came out. I knew it’d be good since I have most of her beading books but WOW! It’s fantastic! Her instructions are wonderful and the variety of bezels, as well as edging and fringe, is truly amazing. This book covers a wide range of techniques, including hard to bezel cabs and other shapes. Her methods for “stack bezels” on rivolis and the clear instructions on the Zig Zag Peyote Bezel (page 27, oh be still my heart!) are worth the price of the book. Thank you, Jamie. I feel like we’re old friends with all the time I spend with your books in my studio!

I am sooo happy I got both books, Edges and Bezels! Fantastic books! So much new information, pictures and creative ideas. I can hardly absorb more than a few pages a day, so many details to savor. And I am an experienced beader. These are a MUST in any beader's home library. Thank you, Jamie!

I purchased this in 2018. I took a class in beaded embroidery bezels and noticed the instructor had placed a book by Jamie Cloud Eakin on the table for us to peruse if we wished. When I got home I immediately went on Amazon and ordered this book and it has been my go-to resource ever since. Excellent book, a must-have for anyone aspiring to learn the ABC’s of beaded embroidery bezels. I’ve since bought additional books by Jamie and her books never disappoint. Well worth every cent! I highly recommend this excellent resource.

Excellent hand book for learning the foundation for bead embroidery.

I have spent quite a while reading your new book, and I am afraid there just won't ever be enough time to create all the lovely things I am inspired to do! Thank you for writing such clear instructions with easy to follow pictures. I have a lot of odd shaped stones and shells that may finally find their way into some beadwork! I love your solutions to bezeling odd heights and shapes. I am so happy to have added this to my collection of your books. They are invaluable to me for design and inspiration.

I don't know how she does it... comes up with all these amazing ways to approach bead embroidery! She's done it again with this Vol 1 book of Bezels - Page after page of all these various ways to bezel stones - odd shapes - crystals - etc. With detailed instructions!I posted a couple pictures from the book because Amazon has their "Look inside" in B&W (hopefully they fix that soon). I want to assure you that it's a FULL COLOR book! Packed full of so many different ways to bezel!Seriously, it's my Bezel Bible now... a *MUST HAVE* for the beading library!

A wonderful book, well photographed, great instructions and ideas. I have been beading for over 25 years with a focus on bead embroidery and was still blown away by the ideas in this book. I am so excited and inspired and can't wait to use some of these techniques.

I'm a novice to intermediate-skilled beader and this book is excellent for starting at the basics of working with cabs and bezels. I've learned a lot from it and it will stay in my collection as an excellent reference guide and resource for ideas. Highly recommended.

Even if you've never used cabs before you won't be able to go wrong with this book. Everything, absolutely everything is clearly explained. And if you have used cabs before, still buy this book, it will give you loads of ideas. Well done Jamie!
