I tried some battery ones, but they are never bright enough, and you can't really leave it on all evening on low, for fear of the battery running out and buying new.Providing you have sockets nearby, these are brilliant. The little plastic clips fix to the strips (which are solid metal, not bendy of course), then you fit the 'coin' magnets, take off the paper layer and line it up, and fit it. Done. Easy.Then plug it in, and with the sticking backing cable clips, you can put the leads out of the way.Ive now got two, and the controls are easy to use. They also have backlights to the controls, so you can see them in the dark! 5W LEDs, so when at low dim, they use such tiny energy... just means your study, kitchen or wherever has subtle lighting all the time, for extremely little cost.One switch to do all lights would be good, but would likely cost ten times more in tools and expertise!

The media could not be loaded.  Quality is okay. Light is bright enough and dimmable with colour temperature change. In my opinion the light switch should be on the lamp itself not down the cable but that is my personal preference. I would say is good product for now. Fingers crossed for it's durability.

Perfect size and really bright, illuminates the room really well providing a lovely ambient light. Love the fact that it's USB. Added feature of different light settings is a bonus 👌

Bought as a light to mount on my 3D printer to allow me to monitor prints via a camera - works perfectly!

The cost of having wired lights installed under my kitchen wall cupboards was very high so I looked for something easy to install that would run off a USB connection, and not a battery. I found these, very easy to put up, no tools necessary, more cable than I needed but I fixed it out of sight at the bottom of the cupboards, lots of self adhesive hooks included. Different versions of white light selectable, and dimmable, and they come back on as last used. I swapped my power outlets for similar size socket fronts with USB ports incorporated, so no plug sockets lost. No need to recharge. The only downside compared to hardwired lights is that each light has a separate switch, but I generally find that I only want two of them on a a time and the switches are adjacent, so a very minor inconvenience.

Good quality, decent product, but the brightness is 400 lumens, not the advertised 900
