Exact replacement of original equipment. Perfect product and 10 minute replacement time. Took more time to get out the ladder than to replace the part.

This product saved me a major repair bill on my garage door bought 2 so I would have a backup if needed. Would recommend!

The switch is very easy to install and it works great with my older garage door opener.

If your garage door on an opener goes up and stops with a loud bang chances are your up limit switch has broken. The little springs on them fatigue over time. There are plenty of videos out there to show you how to install this. Just need a screwdriver and a step stool to get to it - that's it!

Although the description says this is a Genie limit switch, it's not the same as the original or the replacement I received directly from Genie in the past. They may have changed the design. It still works but it has a little lip you have to fit into the rail and the screw is on the opposite side. Easy to install and it's working just fine so far. This one is more expensive than the one on the Genie website but you pay shipping on their site so this one ends up being about the same price.
