This product is of excellent quality. Only negative is that it is a bit pricey for a large herd.

The price of this is way too expensive, but it is everywhere in the UK unfortunately.My guinea pigs absolutely love it, so I buy them a bag every now and then for feeding as treats.It's alot better for them nutritionally than the foods we get in the UK, such as Burgess, Wagg, etc. So, if they can afford it then this is the food to buy!Note: It's only for adults, there's Cavy Performance for piggies under 6 months old, and pregnant pigs

Although not the most affordable guinea pig food out there Oxbow is a trusted brand of quality foods and treats. I feed my guinea pigs this adult version, they were initially on the young piggy version and have always thrived and enjoyed their food. I would recommend this to any guinea pig owner who’s conscious of what carefully balanced ingredients they’re feeding their guinea pigs.

On a previous review I wasnt impressed with this product. Now over 2 months later my guinea pigs eat this in a small bowl full amongst other foods they get. I have now pre-ordered another packet as almost finished the previous packet. Patience is essential with introducing this to your piggies. Eventually they may take to it..like mine. Still very expensive though.

Great product but needed to buy it for adult guinea pig which is in the discription but picture says young guinea pig so I wasn't sure what I was getting till it arrived.

My pigs are very fussy about the food, but this one they love it ! When I was mixing with other one, they were only eating oxbow. It's a bit expensive compared to the others but it's also recommended as one of the best . The only problem is that it's not always available.

Expensive for what it is for guinea pigs

Lo compré porque el veterinario me recomendó esta marca ya que a mis cobayas les olian mucho las heces con el pienso de la marca cunipic alpha pro y yo tenia miedo de que no les fuera a gustar ya que son un poco especiales a la hora de que les guste un pienso pero les ha encantado y a nivel digestivo yo he notado mucho el cambio ya que hacen las cacas con normalidad y sin olor

My original review was about how healthy this food is for guinea pigs. Now a year later with my piggie I am still having trouble getting her to eat the basic pellets, but she does like Oxbow. She is healthy & that's what makes me happy, this has been a great food for her & the price here at Amazon is great compared to other brands the local pet stores carry (they don't offer Oxbow)I'd recommend this food to anyone who is feeding their pig basic pellets, because it is of excellent ingredients. If you are feeding the other types of food that have little color pieces of nuggets and seeds (which my pig absolutely loves, even though I don't want her eating those foods) this would be a good one to try and supplement in or trade your regular food for. Try it before you commit to this food, in case your pig is like mine and refusing to eat basic pellets.
