Beck/ArnleyBeck/Arnley 081-3209 Emergency Brake Shoe

These brakes work fine. On one of them the lining material was a bit off center, and hung over the edge of the shoe by maybe 1/8 inch, but no big deal -- these are parking brakes.Inside the box, the shoes come bundled in packages of two. When I replaced the driver's side shoes, I grabbed one package and replaced both shoes. When I did the other side, I grabbed the other package and noticed that neither of these had the small stud I needed to attach the show to the parking brake mechanism. OOPS!! I had placed the two shoes that had studs on one side of the car, and now I had two shoes with no studs on the other. I wasn't about to tear the other side apart again, so I just hammered out the stud from one of the old shoes and used it in the new show. Dumb mistake on my part, not paying attention. Save yourself a headache -- don't make the same mistake!!

They seem to be just what I needed to replace my original pads. But definitely consider getting the parking brake hardware kit, too. You'll need it as it's almost impossible to get the old ones off without damaging the original hardware. And brake shops will charge you $40+ for a $20-$25 kit.

Replacements on a 2007 Sequoia with 130k miles. Good price and fit as advertised.
