9mm Speidel Brown Alligator Grain Genuine Leather Stitched Watch Band Short

I bought this as a replacement for my 89-year-old mother who has small wrists. The band is very pretty and very similar to the one I'm replacing, but for those with average sized wrists, this one may be too short. In the answers in the "Customer Questions & Answers" the total length stated is 7.5 inches to 7.75 inches. The band I received is 4" by 2.75" including the buckle. This is exactly as stated in the description which says it's 6.75 inches including the buckle. This band I received is too short for a 7" wrist, but I hope it will fit my mom.

I like this band. It is the second of this type I've purchased.Pros:The stitching along the sides, keeps the band from breaking all the way through when it gets weak, providing me with the ability to take off the watch and order a new band instead of loosing it.Classic, classy look, very traditional.Con:The strap is a tad shorter than I would like there are two "safety loops" that one is supposed to tuck the end of the band into after buckling the band. I have my band buckled on the largest setting (last hole) and my band barely reaches the first loop. The second loop is extraneous as the tip of the band does not reach that far. I don't recall this issue with the previous band of this variety that I purchased. Perhaps they come in lengths and I've ordered a shorter one this time.

The wife likes it better than her original strap as it's thinner and more comfortable. Wish it was easier to get on but that's the nature of something this small. Try to have a wrist watch band tool on hand or a small flathead screwdriver to make installing this go smoother. With some good lighting, a clean work area, and some luck you'll have this on in no time.

Great stylish band, fits perfectly, easy to put on, came with two replacement pins. Comfortable. Almost impossible to find size in stores now and only non-stiched types available there. Hope the stiched band holds up better.
