This really works
I have a raucous hound dog that I kennel at night. She had treated a regular bowl in her kennel as a sort of water feature. She would soak her digs in a matter of a few minutes. So I searched for a product that was not going to require financing and would be simple and easy to use. I have been very pleasantly surprised. The floating lid contains every drop! Furthermore, I was expecting her to find a way to get the lid out of the water bowl and use it as a chew toy. She has special gifts and can destroy things once she puts her mind and her muzzle to it. But it hasn't happened. She loves her water bowl and I recommend this product. I am not sure if they are offered in various sizes, but my girl is a small to mid sized hound and consumes the entire bowl (approximately 32 oz. I would estimate) in one night.

Has a flaw that makes it not worth buying
Update: after prying apart the floater thing one too many times to let out the water that gets trapped in there, the two halves no longer fit together. It's been three months. I wish I could return it.Old review: This bowl is good for my dog because he always makes a mess and he also needs to slow down drinking because he chokes. I'm taking a star off because water seems to get trapped in the little floating device. I don't know if it was meant to be taken apart, but it is really hard to pry apart to empty that little bit of water. Other than that, it's easy to clean.

OMG THIS IS A LIFESAVER
This bowl is a life (and floor) saver. My male Frenchie's have long jowls that sag below their mouth lips, and as such always dragged water and slobber around after they were done drinking water from a regular bowl. I constantly had to follow them around with a rag drying their faces and wiping up my floor after every drink. I saw this advertised and was like, 'there's no way this works'. BUT I WAS WRONG. This has reduced Frenchie facial wetness by 90% and my floor wetness around the bowl by 80-90%. If your dog drips all over your floor after drinking water

Better than expected
We got this because our dog would drink so much so fast that he'd throw it up after. He was skeptical at first but is getting used to it. It also keeps the floor dry and his beard isn't drenched. Water stays clean even when drinking after he eats...hated the food bits before. He is a mid size dog and this holds plenty of water for him. I don't think he drinks as much as before that I'm concerned about dehydration but it could be he drank too much before or he's still getting used to it.

Works Great
We had to put a plastic tray under our old dog bowl that filled up all the time and had to be drained frequently. After getting this bowl, not a drop in the tray. Wonderful bowl!! :)

Great bowl but wish it came in a bigger size
I have a sloppy, slurpy, loves to "dip whole snout in the water until he gags" dogface and this pretty much put an end to "ocean floor". There will still be face drips but it's nothing compared to before. My only complaint is that I wish there was an option to buy a larger size as my Alaskan Malamute is 175lbs and I have to refill the water bowl several (at least 6-8 times) during the days when he's inside for the Summer. Luckily, I work from home so this is not a huge issue but I would like to be able to leave for more than a couple of hours without worrying whether my dog has enough water to drink... Hence, the four-star rating. Otherwise, it works great!

Works as advertised
Works great as far as reducing the water slobber on the floor. My beagle drinks a ton and the size of the dish is bigger than his last one so we only need to refill twice a day. My only complaint is how fast the disc gets water inside. I have to open it several times a week to clean it out. I’m afraid the disc will break. Not sure why none of this style dish comes with a solid disc.

Great Bowl for Fast Drinkers and Mess Makers
The only downside to this product is that the ring on top doesnt secure very well and can easily pop off. With that being said, you dont even need the top ring if you dont over fill the bowl. This definitely helped to make my dog slow down and not drink the water too fast and get sick, also it doesnt allow him to lap up so much water that he gets water everywhere within a foot radius of the bowl. Definitely a good cheap product for sloppy and fast drinking dogs.
