Short-Changed.
Whether or not the cable is right for the job for which I bought it is secondary to the fact the 'product' is marketed as cable AND lock, at least as far as I interpret the advertisement and read the reviews.There was NO lock included in the box delivered to my front-door.Subsequently, on a trip to a large DIY store nearby, I saw an almost identical cable, without lock, for half the price.It stands to reason that I am utterly displeased and, as the title of my review states, have been short-changed.

Bloody brilliant really good quality very thick cable just what we needed to secure our motor bikes in a very high theft area.
