Natrel Milk 1%, Chocolate, 8 Ounce (Pack of 18)

This is a nice, non-refrigerated milk to have for when you're on the move. I live with roommates and when you share a fridge, something like this goes missing from time to time. Not having to refrigerate these works really nice. Also, it's a great drink for my morning commute to work. I'm back to getting some Vit D (and more) on a daily basis and it's a little pick-me-up as well. I also keep a 3 pk at work in case I get hungry and don't want to eat junk food. a thick drink helps trick the mind into thinking you ate something. I won't complain about the price because if you bought them in a store, they'd be pretty expensive for a single milk.Also, these are good to buy at the start of snow season/winter as an emergency food item. I bought mine in Late Nov 2014 and they are good through May 2015. If I need something to drink (other than water) in a power outage, I have something.

The flexibility and storage options make this a great buy for me. We always throw away unfinished milk, and although we pay a premium for this, we don't have to be wasteful anymore. The only downside, which reduces the usefulness of this product, was that the shipment I received has an expiration date of 1 month from when I purchased it.

The price is out of this world.There are better organic milks in TetraPak (no need for fridge), that are 1/4 of the cost of this product.So before choosing this product, compare with similar and even better milks.This is not a review of the seller, but the product, as any product is always reviewed by comparing the ratio between product qualities/price range, for all products.

Great for on hand milk for the kids lunches, we put it in the refrigerator and then into their lunch boxes and the kids get a great source of nutrition and milk. The shelf life is over a year so we tend to put these in the pantry until we need them and then use as needed.The kids also know they can just grab these and go which makes it easy for them.The milk is also from cows that aren't treated with rBST or rBGH and each unit delivers 100 calories and 30% of your daily calcium needs. 8g of protein as well makes it a good source of protein for us as well.

Good taste and quality, but expensive to buy in 8oz packages.

There are several options on Amazon when it comes to shelf-stable milk, but this one is unique for a few reasons:- It's fat free milk, rather than 1%- The price per container tends to be lower than the other optionsAbout the only downside is that it tastes a little sweeter than some other milks we've tried, although we quickly got used to it.

Very Healthy tasting. Tastes more like actual chocolate than other healthy drinks. My 4 year old likes it. Not his favorite drink but drinks about 5 a week.

Great value to what we see on other brands and the taste was great. This is a great way to have them have milk during lunch and we have learned that you can keep this in the pantry and just place in the refrigerator when you need them great to reduce the space in the refrigerator.Also have learned this is a great way to store milk for our earthquake / storm preparedness kit.
