A decoration inspired by the Coronation egg of Faberge. Coronation is a jewelry egg, one of the fifty-two imperial Easter eggs, crafted by Carl Faberge. The Faberge Egg was made in memory of the 1896 coronation ceremony of Nicholas II. It was worked on by jewelers Michael Perkhin, Henry Vigstrem, and George Stein, who created a miniature copy of a horse-drawn carriage. This important symbol of Russian history was presented as a gift to the wife of the Emperor, Empress Alexandra Feodorovna.
