Spin Master COOP Hydro Football (Colors & Styles May Vary) 8"

We've gone through a lot of footballs between our pool and beaches; this is the best. It's big enough to not feel like a toy, but smaller than a standard football, making it great for easy spirals and diving catches into the water or over waves. Only complaint is that on both of them we've owned, the throwing laces are not tucked in very well, and tend to come out with throwing and/or rough play. I've had to take many a timeout to re-tuck them, but as it's so much better than other pool balls with fake rubber 'laces,' I am willing.

I wanted something fun and safe to do while stuck at home during the pandemic. It's only my wife and me in the house and she is always willing to try new activities for laughs and adventure. She can't throw like an athlete but can get it far enough to be an enjoyable partner to toss to in the yard and do a little moving around.Playing catch can be a great stress reliever and fun excuse to just get outside for a few minutes to get the dopamine flowing. Try it! You can't help but smile.

The ball itself is pretty easy to throw and catch, but the laces just constantly stretch when in the water, leading to them flopping around every time you throw. The laces are now about twice as long as they were when we bought it a few years ago, and we’ve woven them through the laces to make them stay. Maybe just taking them out, soaking/stretching the laces, and re-lacing then trimming/burning the end would work.

My son and I have had a Mikasa Squish football for a few years that is perfect, but I could not find anywhere online (or off) that still sells that product. The Mikasa is getting worn out (we have a puppy), so I looked for a potential replacement. This one is a bit smaller, but not as small as those little novelty footballs. In fact, I think as we grow accustomed to it, we are going to like it more. This is a pool toy for us when we go to hotels, and once we started throwing it on our most recent trip, I think it is probably closer in size to a real football. We even throw it outside some. I like it!

The size is perfect for kids and adults.The fabric gives great grip (throwing and catching). The tips are soft enough that my grand nephew doesn't detach my retinas when he rifles those perfect spirals right at my face. Highly recommend.

I took the Hydro Football with me on a family vacation to the Dominican. We had a great time throwing it around the pool and met some new friends who wanted to join.Pros: Waterproof, Good size (smaller than a NFL or College ball), doesn't hurt when hit, easy to catch.Cons: The laces (shoestrings) started to come undone the first 10 minutes of use. We fixed it by tying the ends together in a knot.

Our boys ages 17 and 12 LOVE these balls for the pool and beach. They don't hold any water at all -- completely waterproof. They fly really well, only needed a bit of inflation when they arrived and after spending the winter in the garage, and the 2 we had have held up well for over a season of moderate use. We are replacing one with a new one now because we lost one in the ocean. Hopefully, it floated off to someone else who can appreciate it as much as we did.

Work great in the pool. Fun to play with and it doesn’t get heavy like a nerf when wet. My kids love it, also was fun at the beach

Great for fun in the pool and the park. Easy to throw and catch. The laces do come apart, hope they don’t completely fall out.

The ball is fantastic for the water, but the laces started coming out after only a few throws. Very disappointing!

This was the second purchase I made from this company and both footballs fell apart after the first or second use in the pool. Don’t buy this product it’s not worth it
