I was looking for something to add pizzazz to our double garage doors and ran across the Dura-Lift Ultra-Life Magnetic Carriage-Style Garage Door Hardware on Amazon. They were reasonably priced and seemed like they might improve the garage door curb appeal. I ordered two sets...one for each door.My first impression upon receiving them was "meh" as they appear fairly flimsy, only have two round magnets per piece and of course they are plastic (isn't everything nowdays?). It took all of ten minutes to align and adhere them to our doors and then my feelings changed. Wow! What a difference. It was like trying on the ugliest dress on the rack and getting a pleasant surprise in the mirror. These little magnetic doohickeys changed the look of our doors tremendously.My husband pulled in the driveway just as I finished installing them, blew the horn, and gave me two thumbs up 👍👍 out the car window! He actually came into the house talking about how great they looked and has even mentioned them several times since. Just as an FYI...they've now been on the garage doors for three weeks...haven't moved, no black marks on the white doors, and don't catch on anything when the doors are raised or lowered. All-in-all these get five stars. Great purchase!PS. My husband now calls them the "garage jewelry!" 😀👍😀10/14/20: Came back to get the order info for a family member. As an update our door hardware still looks great, has not moved on the garage doors, and there's no discoloration. Still a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ product!

I absolutely love how much flair this product added to my garage doors and it brought such an elegant look to the exterior of my home. The black hardware matches perfectly with my shutters and ties together very nicely. It was so convenient that they were magnetic and required no assembly or screwing into the doors like traditional hardware. I'm impressed with how sturdy they are and stay on securely when opening/closing the garage doors. After only having it up for one day, I've already received compliments from my neighbors. I am so delighted with the outcome, and for such a small investment, I would recommend any homeowner who wants to add a bit of character to their home to purchase this product.

I bought a set of these garage door hardware from another vendor and they worked great. A couple of my neighbors liked them so much that they asked me to get some for them. Unfortunately the other company was out of stock so I ordered these which looked exactly the same. However when these arrived I discovered that the hinges only had two magnets per strap. We installed them and every time the garage door is raised, the straps move. The set I purchased from another vendor has 3 magnets per strap and they have NOT moved since I installed them 3 months ago. Save your money and don't buy these. I had to return them.

Improved the curb appeal.The garage/house now stands out more than others in the subdivision. Due to no one else has the carriage style door.

I did not know such things existed! I ran across them on Amazon. I ordered a set and have them on myvery plain garage door. What a difference! These have very heavy magnets holding them. They were easy toinstall. I just followed the indentations in the garage door making sure not to install on a crack. Eye balled them from the street. Door looks expensive! Thinking of ordering them for all 24 units in our HOA. Great upgrade in apperance for a great price!

These really change the look of the garage doors. They just attach to the door magnetically and are really there! They do not fall off even when you open and close the door! I'm so glad we found them! They have really updated our doors!

I live in an area where most of our homes are well over 100 years old. I wanted my reconstructed garage to have a little bit of that feel. These hinges and handles make it appear to look like the old carriage style doors and are adorable and so affordable. They completely changed the look of my garage.

I've wanted to order decorative accessories for our door for a while now. I waited so long because I only thought they had to be screwed in, and little wrong I was. I LOVE that these are magnetic, and we've already received so many compliments on them. We are the only ones on the block with them, but I'm sure we will be seeing them more now.
