Don't use this to cover books!
I gave it this rating, because the product snags and tears. If you wish to use it to cover books or something similar, you will need a much heavier weight. I didn't know that. I asked the customer service rep from the seller, but they didn't seem to know if it would work or not. The sellers service was good, everything arrived quickly, it was only the product that was unsatisfactory.

Vistafoil used to be a great product for wrapping library books
Vistafoil used to be a great product for wrapping library books. But they must have changed the formula. Now it is difficult if not impossible to work with. It is unforgiving and cannot be peeled to correct position without wrinkling or sticking to itself. It bubbles, it creases, it's a disaster! Any other librarians with this problem? Also, removable labels that we use for interlibrary loan get absolutely stuck on the vistafoil laminate so that we have to use Goop-Off or similar products to remove it. PLEASE, Vistafoil, go back to making this product the old way!!!~ Am going to try ordering Con-Tact or Duck brand and see if that works better. If anyone has found a product that works, please reply on this thread, thanks!
