WONDER of WONDERS, MIRACLES os MIRACLES!!!
Vitamin C Arrived on time....and after removing the two gallon bucket from it's box....I was very excited to start cleaning the HEAVY and dark well water rust stains from my large inground vinyl lined pool. I started on a part of the pool that is supposed to be solid....a 4'x6' bright white plastic lounging area near the skimmer....it was terribly, terribly stained....I put about three of four cups of the V-C power into a small tight-thread burlap bag (a sock would absolutely also works)....it literally wiped the rust away like spilled milk on a countertop.....AND it's also fun and HEALTHY to wet your index finger...stick into the bucket and savor that vitamin C deliciousness. I want to scream how much I love this product from a mountain top...and hey, I live on the top of a mountain...so there's that! :) DO NOT PAY POOL COMPANYS for Ascorbic Acid....they'll charge you 5-10 time more for their "for the pool' packaged Vitamin C.

Amazing bargain!
I take ~3g of Vitamin C crystals buffered with bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) every morning and every evening. Ratio 4:1, which I THINK follows Pauline's practice (though I can't find the reference now). I take quite a bit more when I think I'm infected with a virus, but that doesn't happen very often.I've never bought a whole gallon (8 pounds) at a time before, but the price was right and the quality seems fine. It might last me close to 2 years, which will take me past the Best Before date, but I've repackaged it in smaller ziploc bags in our cool basement, and I expect it to be good to the last gram. The bucket is a pain to open. Literally. With a pull tab that takes more force to break than my thumb could deliver. Fortunately I reached for my little multitool before I hurt myself and it opened fine.As I was scooping out some of the powder into smaller containers (from previous bulk C purchases), I thought I had hit a big lump, but it was a packet of dessicant! No lumps AFAICS. :-)My only complaint is that the powder is a bit FINER than I like. Not a big deal, but after I spoon out my ~3g with a 1/2t=2.5g measuring spoon, the spoon is covered with fine C powder, like powdered sugar. My favorite bulk C is a bit coarse, and leaves the spoon clean, like ordinary granulated sugar. But that's a small problem, and I'd be happy to buy this again when I finally finish this big batch. :-)

Best Buy I’ve made!
I used this on my fiberglass pool. I had brown looking stains on all walls. Not just spots, I mean the whole walls! I first took a vitamin c tablet and rubbed on the stain to see if it worked. To my amazement it did!! I was so excited. I’ve spent so much money before at beginning of season on chemicals to remove stains! I came in and immediately order this Vitamin C powder. I put this in my pool and the stains are GONE! Even the plastic returns are white! Pool looks like new. My only regret is not taking a before picture! It definitely worked for me!

For my pool
I can't guarantee the taste or if it's easy to swallow but my pool has never complained. I use a cup at the beginning of each month (12 x 28 ft pool in ground) and have no problem with any yellow issues (due to metal) on the bottom of my pool. It took years for me to find something to take the yellow out and this works great. It's not going to work on algae, only metal staining which we didn't even know was the problem.I had tried Vit C once before and it didn't work. When I was cleaning out the utility room I saw I had some in a jar and threw it in the pool rather than the trash. My husband asked what I had done to the pool and low and behold, the yellow was gone! It was amazing and looks so good now. Now it's part of my monthly regiment for our pool.

Earthborn Elements: Powdered Vitamin C: Works great to remove iron/rust stains from pool
The media could not be loaded. I was skeptical this would work, and paying $63 for a bucket of powder felt odd, however, Vitamin-C tablets worked so it was worth a shot. I was also afraid that this powder would instantly dissolve in the water and have no real effect, so I thought about putting the powder in nylons or socks. Not needed. I was wrong; the risk was worth it. I decided to try this between storms (thus all the leaves in the pool) when I had to shut off my pump to vacuum. I have a 30,000 gallon in-ground pool with a vinyl liner, on a well. Slowly, iron/rust was staining the liner. I used a clean laundry detergent cup and walked around the pool, sprinkling the powder against the pool wall, and then out into the middle. The powder dissipated (not dissolved) slowly, and instantly neutralized the iron stains. My liner was back to white. I posted a video that does not do justice to this science experiment. Unfortunately, I did not have enough powder to finish the pool (the bucket was smaller than I anticipated from the photo) but I can hit those areas with tablets again. I cannot comment on taste; I used this strictly for fixing my iron stains. The bucket was easy to open by ripping the pull strip around the lid. The lid then came easily off. The powder did not irritate my skin. Overall, I was very impressed with this product. I paid $62.99 on 20200629, which was the best price I could find for the quantity.
