Received what was ordered
Received five large, ten medium and twenty small bands as per stated contents, unlike some other reviewers.Bands are suitable for my intended purposes: Camping / outdoors and photography (securing light modifiers to shoe-mount flashes, cables and cords). Would buy again.from thomas-dot-net (searched 'EPDM characteristics'):EPDM properties: EPDM’s biggest advantages lie in how weatherproof it is outdoors. It can resist abrasion, UV rays, ozone, aging, and weather, and it’s the most waterproof rubber available. EPDM is also steam resistant, functioning in up to 392 degrees F (200 C) without air, and chemical resistant, including to polar fluids. With similar properties to silicone rubber below 250 degrees F, EPDM is resilient, has low electrical conductivity, and adheres easily to metals. It’s also very flexible, with 600% elongation and a tensile range of 500-2500 psi, while functioning well in temperatures from -50 degrees F (-45 C) to 350 degrees F (177 C). On top of that, EPDM insulates and reduces noise, part of the reason it’s so commonly used in the automotive industry. How long does EPDM last? It depends on the application it’s used in as well as the conditions under which it’s working. When constantly working at the extremes of its working temperature, EPDM’s lifespan will shrink dramatically. However, if properly taken care of, EPDM products can last for decades. Roofing made from EPDM can last 30-50 years, and liners can last for 20.EPDM’s most major drawback is its vulnerability to solvents, hydrocarbon oils, and some lubricants, which can cause damage. Additionally, unlike silicone, it’s not flame resistant, and it’s also not recommended for food application. Finally, while EPDM has fair tear resistance, other rubbers such as SBR are better.

Excellent high quality bands, just ensure you know the quantity for each size, not many large ones
Having had some others bands supplied with some other items I bought that pretty much just deteriorated into nothing I wanted some good old Ranger bands like we used to get back at Benning. These are that quality. Make sure you know how many of each size you are getting as there are more really small ones (still handy) in the bag than the larger ones. It is clearly stated how many of each you are getting so just pay attention to that. I will say that when using mine for some sling control they are very solid and durable with a good deal of stretch available. If I have any issues I will report back but I gave them a good once over and they are quality. I feel the price was fair as well.

Works great
The bands are rugged and won’t break easily. Used it to fasten my sling to my rifle and it works perfectly. The various size options are great also for so much more. Highly recommend

Great idea, works for many uses but not all sizes included I wanted
I wanted a "ranger band" to seal a zippo lighter. Well not one size in this pack worked for me. But... I found a lot of used for these on other projects and have had fun using them. YES you can make your own. But for the price and convenience this is the way to go. One of the bands works perfect on a Altoids box as a side note. I would look elsewhere if you need a ranger band for a zippo. I ended up buying a tube and making my own. Never the less, this is a great niche product and am glad to have it.

Rubber heroes
I bought a bag of Ranger Bands, thinking they were just your average rubber bands. Boy, was I in for a surprise!- **Strength:** These things could probably hold together a spaceship. I've used them to fix everything from my broken glasses to my sagging pants.- **Versatility:** From organizing my chaotic desk to creating a makeshift slingshot for office paper clips, they're the Swiss Army Knife of rubber bands.- **Durability:** I've had one on my wrist for weeks, and it's still going strong. It's like they're made from the same stuff as superhero capes.- **Price:** For the price of a fancy coffee, you get a bag that could last you through the apocalypse. In short, Ranger Bands aren't just rubber bands; they're life savers, organizers, and entertainment all rolled into one. If rubber bands had a hall of fame, these would be in it.
