QUALITY PRODUCT
have already started using these hose clamps. I have been working a lot with replacing, setting up and reinstalling an electric air compressor in my shop. I have also been doing a lot of work with pressurized garden sprayers and specialized spraying equipment. Many of the parts and accessories I have been using come from a local Tractor Supply Company.I was horrified one day when I went to use on of the forty-pack of assorted hose clamps that I purchased from Tractor Supply's "discount table". I can not imagine how angry I would be if I was really relying on those clamps to get me out of a serious breakdown situation. The "forty-pack" turned out to be garbage. Whenever a moderate amount of torque was applied to the hose clamp it failed. The band twisted and broke. The screw tore right through the soft metal of the hose clamp banding material. This was truly awful. I wrote the company and explained how shoddy the quality was. I have since seen similar reviews on "discounted" forty-pack hose clamps in other stores. At least I know now to stay away from any of that bargain basement junk especially when it comes to an item that I might really truly be relying on to get me out of trouble.I said all of that as a comparison to these high quality hose clamps that I have purchased from this seller. They are top shelf products and I have successfully used them in high pressure air hoses and high pressure water hoses. All repairs are doing well.

Great product, better price
At $4 for a 10pk I'd give them 4.5 stars if I could... One of those items that, once you get, you can't believe you ever went without them. I've been going around putting them on every hose that I'm even slightly concerned about... Fuel vapor lines that move just a little bit, an EXACTLY 7/8-inch O.D. (probably 3/4-inch I.D.) radiator hose (heater bypass hose) that was leaking a little coolant with the old spring-action hose clamps, and much more. They really hold when you tighten them down, and I haven't stripped one yet, as I have with some hose clamps. I did have one where the screw housing got loose, but was able to bend everything back into shape and keep on using it.For those larger hoses, you can even daisy-chain these. Two of these end-to-end will fit 1-3/4" hose, and three will hold a 2-5/8ths hose. It takes quite a bit of work bending them for the larger size, and a larger hose clamp is the better option, but it'll do, in a pinch, when you don't have the luxury.Nice and cheap and durable, with plenty of extras to carry around.

Great price
considering local hardware store wanted .89 each! Would love to have supported local but had a hard time justifying spending that much for as many as I needed.

Poor Quality
Threads strip easily. Does not make a tight fit

Solid product, worth the cost
These worked when other, softer steel products failed and began to strip. Sealed some difficult fittings. I would buy again.
