Good Quality, Easy to Mount (see photos)
I can't vouch for bluebird inhabitants yet, but I was able to find a flange that fits the pre-drilled holes in the bottom of this house at the big hardware store (Lxxx'x) in the plumbing department. The instructions for the bird house say the holes should fit a 'universal bracket' (not included) but I didn't find such a thing at the hardware store. A 3/4" flange lined up well enough with the holes so that I could connect it with #6 screws, washers, and acorn nuts; then put this on top of a 3/4" plumbing pipe as the pole. I will oil the pole and place it away from shrubs/trees to try and avoid a repeat of last year's black snake disaster. The total cost for parts was about $28, so another option is: Universal Mounting Pole Kit, Perfect for Bird House, Bird Feeder and Fly Thru Feeders 2019 Update: two seasons and no inhabitants. Bluebirds choose the rough wood birdhouse, also pole mounted, about 15 feet from this birdhouse.

Great quality, great price, great features
I looked around at other options like Duncraft, and their bluebird houses seemed less substantial and cost quite a bit more. I loved the coloring on this bluebird house, so I figured I'd give it a chance. I mounted it on a base flange screwed onto a bit of galvanized conduit. I painted the pole and flange black, and for 5 bucks, I had a pole for the house. We followed the mounting directions, and bought some cedar chips to put inside, and bam, we were all ready to go. We haven't had any visitors yet, but we just put it up, and it's a bit late in the season. I'm suspecting that we'll have to wait until next year, but no worries! The view feature is AMAZING. You can lift a side of the house up on a hinge, and then there is a plexiglass panel behind it that lets you look inside at whoever is living in you birdhouse. One of the coolest things I've ever seen on a birdhouse. After buying the Mason bee house from JCs Wildlife, I went ahead and bought this, two feeders, and a chickadee house. The quality and price of all of these products is really, really impressive. I think these guys will last as long as I need them to. The polylumber sees like it will last forever.

Sturdy Birdhouse Worth the Money
Hello, our old wooden Blue Bird house was rotting away and the pole was leaning. It's March in Pennsylvania, and our yearly Blue Bird visitors were ready to nest. We replaced the post and bird house. The house is very sturdy, and made of durable recycled poly lumber. There is a side for viewing with plexi-glass, and then a side for cleaning the house out. There is even a slit in the back so you can insert a camera. I took the old nesting material from the discarded birdhouse and placed it nicely in the new one. The blue bird family has now officially moved back into their new abode. :0)

Great nesting box, nice features, nice colors
I bought these to replace two old cedar boxes and I really like them ! Especially the viewing window. Our birds were used to having their "screened porch" on their old boxes, so we attached them to these. They add extra protection from predators and the Mama/Daddy birds just seem to enjoy resting there. We attached them to the top of the existing predator guard with screws and small washers. Can't wait until spring, a roomier house for the baby birds !

Can't wait for new residents!
I purchased this bluebird box to replace a cedar one that had deteriorated. Year ago I had a bluebird box that had a viewing side. This will be great for photographing the nest while not disturbing it. I expect this box to last much longer than wood ones, even cedar boxes.I plan to make a shade screen for the box since it's in the full hot South Carolina sun. After to have added that I'll post another photo. This year I had tree swallows in the old box in May. Bluebirds moved in after the swallows left, and I had removed the old nest. I think it's too late for a third next this year, but the box is there for birds to use for shelter later.

Beautiful bluebird house!
Top quality birdhouse. Heavy duty and thoughtful design. Mounted it on also heavy duty Squirrel Stopper universal pole kit without squirrel baffle last week. While mount screw holes matched in position, birdhouse holes were bigger than pole’s holes. Rather than drill new holes in box, I just used three black cable ties to secure. Auger on pole will allow repositioning. It’s probably too late in season to draw nesting, but happy to wait. Love that it’s made in Evansville, Indiana. Highly recommend.

Well made, easy to clean, and no issues with carpenter bees
I like this design a lot, I've only just put it up so I can't yet say if the bluebirds will choose it over the older cedar box, but I know they use both. This house was easy to mount on a pole, it's super easy to clean, it has a guard around the entrance (one less thing I had to buy), and there's good air circulation for nesting birds. I have multiple bird boxes, but personally I like the "go green" recycled types best as I don't have to worry about carpenter bees or other insect damage, they are super easy to clean, and they last forever!

Okay
I gave this 3 Stars because all of my Bluebirds have had difficulty entering through the hole. I did not have as many families this year because of their struggles to enter the box I believe. It is a good looking birdhouse, just not user friendly for my Bluebirds.
