There is no better translation of this classic work than this one. Well worths your money.

Possibly the best English translation of the original Arabic text by Imam Tahawi. Sh Hamza leaves no stone unturned in the translation, trying to stay as close as possible to the original Arabic in meaning. The supplements to the main texts are incredibly helpful.

A great translation of classical Islamic scholarship(thanks to Hamza Yusuf), that provides a concise and understandable approach to Aqidah, that is, Islamic creed/beliefs (thanks to Imam al-Tahawi). Highly recommended for every Muslim, and for every non-Muslim wanting to learn about Islam from a reliable source.The original text itself has already been "reviewed" by history; it still stands as one of the foundational texts of Islamic belief.

The book is great! I am using with a teacher and it has been an amazing learning experience so far. The book is in great condition and i recommend it to anyone who wants to study Islamic creed, Muslim or Non-Muslim. It is easy to understand and a must read for every Muslim.

Must read book for all muslims in the western hemisphere. Sheikh Hamza Yusuf had done an outstanding job translating one of the most important texts in the Islamic Theology . I recommend it for every muslim family.

Incredible text on the normative, mainstream creed of Islam. The translation and introduction are great. This is a book you can read in 2 hours, or spend a year studying.

Have read little bit of this book earlier. Wanted to have a hard copy for so long. Just found 1 available n bought it. Good decision. A must have for everyone who cares to learn about the creed. A very good work from sheikh Hamza Yusuf.

I would recommend this book to others who are studying Aqidah. This book goes into detail and helps one to strengthen their Imaan and have correct beliefs in Islam

This book is a fantastic introduction to the most important and fundamental tenet of Islam - The Creed. In Islam, since the Creed is an overarching principle which infuses every action be it simple or complex, the book is suitable for a whole range of individuals from the uninitiated to the scholarly. For me, the main ingredient in this book which contextualizes the Creed for the 21st century reader is Shaykh Hamzah's very respectfully written commentary.

This book has a good introduction and notes by the translator, the esteemed scholar Hamza Yusuf. Shaykh Hamza Yusuf explains the content of the original book written by Imam Al-Tahawi, that a lay person would not comprehend. The book is recommended to read with teachers but good to have as a primer on Islamic Theology.
