The media could not be loaded.  Very helpful Network cable splitter for internet or local area network sharing. Previously i used a network switch to control my cameras which requires a power cable but this splitter simplified the connections. I use only one camera at a time so this perfectly worked for me. I wish the switch functionality was included in this as well but i guess that require a an bigger and larger expensive PCB board. Over all this is a good product and worked great.

feels like it's made from very durable material, not cheap plastic that will easily break. was a breeze using it as an extender for my current ethernet cable. now it isn't stretched across the wall and noticeable. connection between the two cables is great. pretty straight forward and simple piece of technology.

It's perfect for the intended application - worked perfectly for me Like some other have said if you have just one in your setup you are doing it wrong. This allows you to take one already ran the line and split BOTH sides into two lines. This product does NOT take one ethernet connection and split it into two. If that is what you want, you need an ethernet switch. Search "ethernet switch" in the search bar and do not buy this item.

I bought it for the wrong application. You can’t use this if you’re trying to sent and internet signal to 2 different devices. You need to use a hub for that.

My experience with these Splitter Adapters is they didn't work. I hooked up two cables and only one side would work. I tried switching the cables in case the cable was faulty. It still would only work from one side. I tried both units as there are two in a pack. Neither would work. I had thrown away the packaging so I could not return. They can be used to extend one cable if you need to connect one cable to one cable, but then what's the point. I needed it to work as described to split one cable coming in to two cables coming out.
