EKOCUPS Artisan Organic Decaf Vanilla Hot or Iced Coffee, Medium Roast, in Recyclable Single Serve Cups for Keurig K-cup Brewers, 20 count

Even though I gave this 1 star (for overall experience), I would give the flavor of this coffee 5 stars. I purchased the Ekocups organic decaf vanilla. It tasted absolutely wonderful and I love that it it organic, flavored, and decaf (a rare combination to find!) However out of 20 K-cups over half did not work in my Keurig (Keurig 2.0 Plus series). The plastic on the cups either wouldn't puncture or a big chunk would break off and my cup would be filled with grounds. I just received my Keurig for Christmas, so the needle is sharp and I have had no problems with any other brand except for this one. When I tried to contact the company I found that the email address on the box is not valid. I looked up the company online and called customer service, which was no help. The customer service representative gave me another email address which I contacted (with pictures of the bad cups) and they never responded. That was over a month ago. I've included a picture in this review of the bad cups (I had more but didn't start keeping them until I realized that this was going to be problem with most of the cups). It is unfortunate that the experience was so poor because I would have continued to buy this coffee on a regular basis.

Have been trying lots of "bold & dark" coffee, sampler packs & could not find a good strong but not overwhelming coffee. The last sampler pack had this in it. I immediately noticed how dark the brew was. After trying it, was impressed. The absolute best so far. Not biting or bitter. I use creamers in my coffee and still get the taste the coffee in this one. Ordered and so far have not had problems with the grounds spilling over, nor the maker being unable to puncture the container. Absolutely the best so far, great price & fast shipping.

Ever since I bought a Keurig coffee maker, I have had mixed feelings. It made sense in that I drink only one cup or at the most two a day. However, the K-cup coffee never had the flavor of a brewed cup - mostly, it was simply not strong enough. Also, I was never quite comfortable with the single-use plastic. The EkoCups were a great find and covered both these issues. As advertised, they are packed much fuller than the average cup - leading to a more robust flavor - and the cups themselves can be recycled. Have been using EkoCups for some time and glad I discovered them.

I had no problems with the packaging or the usefulness of the k-cups in my keurig and I'm down to the last 1/4th of the box. I won't reorder because I just find the taste unpalatable. I saw one of the Q&A comments said it tasted like bourbon and I wouldn't be surprised if that was true. I don't know how to identify what the taste is, but it is a strong flavor. FYI, I don't like strong coffee but it isn't that kind of strong taste. I'd have thought it was a chemical taste if it wasn't supposed to be a natural product - so maybe that's where the bourbon flavor comes in. Whatever it is it just overpowers the taste of the coffee. Even the aroma bothers me -- it's not a good coffee smell, it overpowers. I also don't like strong perfumy smells either. So there's my .o2 -- if you don't like strong smells or strong coffee perhaps you might agree and if so, skip this product.

I'm not sure I'd say this is overwhelmingly vanilla but it has a deep, rich flavor and is far more satisfying as a good cup of coffee than most ofter decafs. It comes in a great dispenser box that sits neatly on the shelf. The pods are recyclable which is a nice change although my regular coffee has compostable pods. This is my nighttime treat and I am enjoying it tremendously. I would recommend it if you are looking for a good, natural flavor rather than those artificial things.

I really like Eko-Cups. They are so easy to recycle and they pack a good amount of coffee in each cup. The Bold variety is just that....bold! I set my Keurig on the large cup (10 oz) and get a wonderful cup of smooth strong coffee for my morning. It's good!

These little k-cups are seriously great. They have smooth rich flavor and like espresso and other dark coffee's, have little acid. Typically I can only drink a few cups a coffee a week, but I can enjoy these every day without any stomach problems. You can also brew a large cup and still get a strong flavor. Great product 10/10!

I love the fact that it is organic and not acidic, it’s stronger than any decaf coffee I have tasted which is great and I can actually taste the vanilla in this which you don’t in other flavored coffee however once I get passed the vanilla the coffee flavor taste like black licorice! I can’t deal with that. If it wasn’t for that the coffee would be perfect for me! I have a kureig 2.0 and they are compatible which is good because I don’t have to hack my machine.
