Was looking for a good priced walking boot, after spending a fortune on my last pair and only lasting 8 months, saw these thought why not give them ago, arrived before they said and well packaged and a extra pair of laces, they are a bit stiff to start of with and I must admit that they did rub one of my heels, but I did order mens as I have wide feet, but I've been wearing them now for a few weeks and now they have worked in they are a comfortable pair of boots, and my feet have stayed dry with plenty of grip.

I was weary after a previous pair of similar priced waterproof walking boots from Amazon failed after four weeks. But I’ve been wearing these ones every day for 3 months for 3-4 mile dog walks in the countryside and so far no leaks and they have remained structurally sound.

These boots were purchased for walking my dog. She likes walking on grass. We live in West Scotland, so the grass is wet.The boots are light and comfortable. I used dubbin on them as soon as they were delivered, and they have been truly waterproof. I have been very impressed with the fit and with the dry feet.I go through at least one lace a month. The hooks that the laces go through have sharp edges, and they chafe through laces. There is nothing more irritating than pulling on a boot in the early morning, and then having to re-lace it because the lace snapped. Try telling a dog that she has to wait an extra fifteen minutes for her toilet break, because you have to re-thread a boot.Today, one of the lower lace-eyes came off. They are only held in place by a spread-out metal plate, even more flimsy than a pop-rivet. The boot is useless, now. There is very little sign of wear on the sole, but the boots have only lasted three months.The lacing system is seriously flawed. I will not buy any boot that uses these metal hooks, again. Save you money, and get a boot with old-fashioned eyelets.

I've had these for about a year now and walked almost every day between 6 - 12 km. They're just as strong and comfortable as the first day. The only thing that changed was the padding being attacked by pesky mice in the shed when I left them in there overnight. Otherwise, they're perfect. The soles haven't worn, the body of the shoe is intact ... no creasing or cracking. I will definitely be buying another pair of these and putting them aside for when the day finally arrives that I need to replace them. It's not looking likely any time soon. Best Amazon purchase I ever made. No regrets. Worth every penny!

my second purchase of NWT boots, first pair still in use for pottering about in garden, new pair for walking. very comfy from the off/first wear. nice and soft and comfy in width. highly recommend and half the rice of some boots I have purchased and these match and surpass the quality of the more expensive ones. would not hesitate to recommend
