So, I want to commend the makers of this beard oil for putting together a very good oil that works well. In my trial of this beard oil, it left my face moisturized with a great soft beard. Unfortunately the scent was almost unbearable. I was expecting this to have more of a balanced blend of sandalwood and vanilla, but as others have mentioned, it's almost all vanilla and very, very strong. I returned it for this reason. The man looking for a vanilla scent will truly enjoy this.

I gave 4 stars because only fools read the 5 star reviews. This is a 5 star product. Smells FANTASTIC, like a warm sugar cookie mixed with leather and wood. Has noticeably softened my beard up when no other beard oils have, and stays in for much longer (another one I got had to be reapplied 4-5x a day to feel the softness, I do this one twice but I think even that’s overkill).It can get a little shiny if you apply too much, but after a couple of trial and error runs you’ll figure out the right amount for your hair. If you’re looking for a completely matte oil, though, this may not be the one for you.All around great beard oil and I’m excited to try their other scents.EDIT: This review was originally for “Executive”. I tried the “American” scent recently because I figured if they made something as good as Executive, the rest must be awesome as well. Don’t make my mistake. It smelled, as others have said, like a cheap christmas tree. Would definitely look elsewhere for that sort of fragrance. Highly recommend Executive though, great every day smell.

This WAS my hands down favorite beard oil. (And wash) BUT, they changed the packaging a while back (which looks better, but isn’t made as well). And, the worst part is they changed the oils used in the scent. I don’t know if they had to start using a company that could produce more essential oils for them since they had grown so much. Or, if they blend their own, and, had to use different core ingredients for the same reasons ( BUT ) the change took the scent of the “American” from the REAL smell of fresh woods with hints of campfire and old wood stoves, to a much more artificial woodsy scent that seems more concocted by a “city slicker” that’s never seen a mountain trail. It’s still a real good oil. And the smell isn’t “bad”. ( I still order and use it occasionally) But the oil, and beard wash’s scent went from a “10” to maybe a “6”.

Love the oil. It's the right viscosity. Smells great. I bought along with the butter and wash. If you like being outdoors in the woods, you'll love it. It's like standing in the middle of the woods with the earthy and woodsy scents surrounding you. I recommend.

So this is my 1st time using a beard product from Live Bearded and I'm very Happy I made the decision to try this stuff out ! Great Marketing, by the way ! I have to say,this is some Great smelling oil and I think this has become my new favorite scent for the winter time (just the right amount of scent Not Overpowering) It's a nice medium consistency , not too thick and not too thin . Last and not least , I had a very small issue with my order and the peeps at Live Bearded absolutely took care of me in a very quick manner and I really Respect a company that takes care of their clients ! Got nothing bad to say about this company and I would do yourselves a favor and try their products soon , you won't be disappointed !

I absolutely love this oil! The scent is perfect and the oil itself is lightweight and immediately makes your beard soft. I have used a lot of other brands and I usually only order from 1 other company. Live Bearded is definitely a favorite now, I will always have this in stock. I’m going to order the butter and wash next. The legend scent is perfect!

Excellent product. If you have a thick full beard this is the oil to use. It’s not heavy so it doesn't weigh down your beard and its thin enough so that you can really place the oil on your face where it belongs, on your skin. I have not used any of the scented products - I use "Straight Up" which is unscented.

Smells pretty good. For the price it is a great product. For those of you wondering ho was it compares to a similar product on the market in the same bottle this smells more like grapefruit than the clove. I feel like the moisturizing effects are t as good as the other, but works better than others. For the prive it is a good. I still like the original better though.Upon further use I will say I rather like it. It is more citrusy than the other one that is more spice, but I would buy it again. Now I want to try the other scent.
