While the build quality of this item is superb I find that most slats of wood that I remove end up splitting leaving the nails behind. This is not due to the pry bar, but due to the strength of the nails holding the boards in place. I end up with very few reusable pieces. Again, this is not the fault of the tool, but don’t expect to be left with nice clean boards unless separating the soft wood pallets that are connected using staples instead of nails.

Great product, durable and well worth the money if you plan to keep the parts of the pallet in a good condition.

My husband and 12 yo son are breaking apart pallets and making deer blinds ... this tool was a life saver! My 12 yo has broken down every pallet needed to build their man shed ... he had a lot of fun ripping apart the pallets.

Made taking the boards off super easy vs a hammer and crow bar. Took almost half the time to tear apart using this awesome "toy"/tool!! Kudos

Prior to owning this, disassembling pallets was not fun at all. Using this tool, I had three palettes completely apart in about 15-20 minutes. It sure makes recycling pallets much easier. It’s a heavy tool.

did not find this item useful at all. Wrong position to get any leverage. It was way quicker cutting down skids with a circular saw it was a waste of money would not recommend at all.

This product does NOT work. Purchased it for breaking apart pallets, it just breaks each and every board. Not capable of salvaging anything. I assumed it was a leverage issue with the moving forks, causing an uneven lift so welded the movable legs - still wont work.

This pallet breaker is a beast!' Taking it easy, I can deconstruct the sturdiest in less than 10 minutes ( versus 20-30 minutes ) and with less spoilage and splitting of the boards.

Fantastic once you get the hang of it. Took me about 3 pallets to get use to it, now I can break down a pallet and have the wood in good shape to use on projects in about 3 minutes.
