Redline hood struts so easy to install highly recommended

I was stupid until I wasn't... I didn't realize you could just press the ends of the struts onto the balls; at first I thought you had to retract the clip-springs but I was mistaken and caused myself a bunch of needless frustration. These went on SO EASILY. And when you flip the lever to open the hood, the hood just slides right up and open, and eases to a stop once it fully extends. I'm so satisfied with this purchase and I can't recommend this conversion kit more. No cutting or drilling or anything, it just bolts right onto the existing holes and strut tower bolts! Only downside is that you'll need to take the hood struts off when you change your shocks, so I left the original support bar in place for that purpose even though it says in the instructions to remove it. There is no clearance issue or anything and this truly is a "plug and play" sort of kit. Love it.

Wow. Great product and very easy to install. Took me but 15 minutes from start to finish. Read the very simple instructions that came in your package. Do exactly what it says and shows in the pics provided. So simple and so worth the money. You’ll be extremely pleased.

2014 Explorer. 20 minutes start to finish. Instruction call for 13mm and 17mm sockets. An adjustable wrench will do fine. All the holes for the top strut were under the lining. The bottom of the strut uses existing car bolts .Product is top quality. Fast delivery with Prime.
