I bought this mask for a cruise trip with my family. I bought them for my twin 4 year olds. I am a professional diver who dives for a living and i bought these knowing full well that some of these masks have had issues in the past where they don't get rid of the exhaled air completely. Meaning, when the child breaths out then takes another breath, part of the exhaled air is re-inhaled. After a few minutes of doing this, the partial pressure of CO2 in the blood becomes too elevated and the partial pressure of O2 begins to diminish. As this happens the child will eventually just pass out. Knowing this could very well happen i was keeping a very close eye on my kids while they were wearing these and sure enough, my 4 year old boy got very lethargic and started closing his eyes and barely able to hold his head up while i had him in very shallow water on the beach. I immediately ripped the mask of his face and that was the last time he wore it. I will be returning this mask for a full refund. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MASK.

I purchased this Knit Bonbons snorkel mask because I went on a trip to the beach and wanted to get pictures underwater with my GoPro camera (also purchased here on Amazon). So the main requirements were that it fit my and my wife's faces and mounted the camera. I tried the snorkel first and found it to be painful to wear because of a large hinge at the top of the mask that connects the air tube digging into my forehead. I gave it to my wife to try, and she didn't have any problems with it. The hinge wasn't anywhere near her forehead. I tried it again, and the second time I was able to adjust it so that it didn't interfere with my skin. So you may have to put it on a couple of times to learn where and how it needs to sit properly on your head.It comes with a screw for attaching a GoPro camera at the front above the mask. I was able to adjust it the way I needed to. The camera mount is also removable if you don't need it.The mask is a little claustrophobic at first, but after a couple minutes of steady breathing and showing your body and brain that it is safe to breathe normally underwater, it turns out to be a lot of fun. We didn't encounter any problems with the mask fogging up or water getting in the mask through the face or the air tube. We were able to see the dolphins and fish and crabs clearly underwater, and we recorded our encounters on our camera. When we were done, we were able to fold the air tube down and store the shortened snorkel and attached camera in the provided mesh bag to dry out.Overall, we were very happy with our purchase and would purchase again. 5/5 stars.If you found this review helpful, please show some love by clicking the "Yes" button below. This is my preferred snorkel mask. You don't feel short of breath or that you are breathing your own recycled breath. It will not seal well to your face if bangs or hair are in the way, FYI. The little bobber at the top of the breathing tube will close if you go under the water for diving (but hold your breath obviously) it keeps the water out. The masks are magnified so you can see the fish up close and personal. Highly recommended for any Snorkeling trip. If you do have a leak and your mask fills with water push the mask to your face to create suction and blow out hard and the valve at the bottom of the mask will expel the extra water in the mask so you can keep swimming and not have to take a break to drain the water out of your mask.

We purchased this product after long researching the practical safe use & effectiveness over many brands. It was an initial concern about asphyxiation with children. This one it turns out is nearly identical to most on the market I've seen - China made - almost identical, right down to the same spelling/Grammer mistakes in the instructions.My 9yr old daughter was beyond ecstatic and elated with the use of this mask after a test run in the pool before our vacation. After adjusting for proper fit it had very few/no leaks and DID NOT FOG! She did get winded after a few minutes using and would pull the mask up on her head to take 5 or 10 breaths without. I believe this would the case even with a traditional mask and snorkel, you just (as the parent/guardian) need to be aware that because this is strapped to your child's head, they may not think about their difficulty in catching a full breath 5 minutes into wearing. Using this product with younger kids I feel MUST be a full time task to monitored safely.- CONCLUSION -As long as you supervise your child and are close enough to observe if they are needing a break, this mask (when properly fitting) is an excellent option, especially for grade school children (5-10) who often have issues finding masks that keep water out. Very simple and effective solution!

I purchased the small size for my 9 year old son. He didn't like it because water kept getting in. I think his face was slightly too small. However, my 11 year old and his 12 yo friend loved it. They were able to snorkle around the pool for a long time. They both quickly figured out how to drain any water without removing the mask. They liked that the snorkle did not have to go in their mouth, so it was not gross to share. This is a very cool mask and while we only used it in the pool, this could work very well in other types of snorkling situations.

I was a little skeptic about it because it looked "too good to be true". I have to say it is a good investment for the price I went to Cancun and they were selling this same mask for $89!!!. So, if you are planning on going on a trip and not to use the usual rental snorkels they give you when you take tours that include snorkeling then buy it. It comes with two pouches, one of them is a kind of net which is perfect because the mask can just vent and dry after you use it and it will make it easier to carry.No leaking problems, no foggy "glass". Just great!I measured my face before I bought it. So make sure to measure your face so you dont have problems.
