I have not measured it but believe it must be 5/8 inch because it looks just like the regular joga mat I have here
Your current description says that this mat is 5 inches thick. I know it might be naive of me to believe that but because I have fibromyalgia and arthritis I was looking for a really thick, cushy mat. This just arrived today. I have not measured it but believe it must be 5/8 inch because it looks just like the regular joga mat I have here.

I bought this mat because I needed a new one. I bruised my tailbone years ago & it hasn't been the same since. When I do exercises where I lie down I always need to add a towel for extra cushion with my old thin mat to my tail area. With this mat I don't need to add anything. It gives the support & comfort I need when exercising. Great mat, don't wanna share!
