Love shopping from my easy chair and finding just what I need.

Material is solid

I use it with metal cable in it and adhere durable led light strips to make my own custom rope lights and displays for my paintings. Safer than just using wire people can't see and might walk into. Picture is just an experiment with color, but the lights are on the tubing with cable through it to hold it in place. Very thick and durable.

I was going to use this for edge protection when shipping cutlery I don't have sheaths for. It's a little stiff for that but as usual it's hard to tell what you're getting online. Otherwise it's great tubing.

I purchased this to replace some 1/4" OD tubing I was using to siphon wine from a fermentation vessel, and getting older why it trickled. This works far more quickly at the task and yet not so quickly as to kick up residue. My only issue is that it is a bit stiff, making it a little harder to maneuver. Otherwise no complaints.

Was not effected by engine oil and should be able to use again.

I didn't buy this tubing to move liquids around. I make model boats and have an expensive set of mini chisels and a very aggressive set of rasps. I wanted to protect the edges on the chisels and my hand when I was rummaging about looking for the rasps. What I did was cut lengths of the tubing that went over the chisels and rasps and so the edges and my hand were protected.

Buying this tubing on Amazon seemed crazy as they do have it at Ace Hardware. However I found that sometimes the tubing at Ace has been on the spool so long it is flattened and distorted. This was loosely looped and unrolled and uncurled after few short hours. Also I could be be sure of the specs exactly. Home Depot is even worse. I was able to find exactly what I needed on Amazon in a few seconds. It would take at least 30 minutes to find this product at Home Depot; probably more.
