The media could not be loaded.  Got the valve installed under the tank and it’s stuck open. The valve clicks on and off as it should with the timer but doesn’t close the valve at all. Maybe I just got a defective unit. Too bad because it only took me a few hours to get it in there. Hopefully a replacement will fix it.Update: literally a day after posting this review a new valve showed up at my door. Amazing! How do they do it? Installed the new valve and it’s working exactly as it should. Will report back if there are any issues but right now I’m happy camper.

Great option, this is more for the large stand up shop compressors vs a home garage 30 gallon compressor. Midwest has a kit that is better for home use compressors.

works like a charm on a 30 hp rotary screw Ingersol Rand. tried to buy a replacement part from OEM and was told 6 to 7 weeks! there's customer service for you, ordered this on a Saturday got it the following Monday and had it installed in 15 min.

Bought this for draining the water out of my IR compressor and the set up easy and I connected to a light timer so it is only energized from 8 am to 7pm set it for 4 seconds every 45 minutes. Looking forward to never having to reach underneath the compressor to drain it!

Worked great for about 6 months. Now it's stuck in open mode and I found my compressor running non stop before I unplugged the timer. Not durable and could have potentially damaged my compressor.

Out of the box, installed correctly, it worked for 15 minutes, then the valve stuck open. It took me a few months to be able to get around to installing it, so I'm past replacement/refund period. Wish this would have worked.
