Touch of Nature 21177 Fat Blue Jay Feather Bird, 5-1/2-Inch

When I ordered this I wasn’t sure what I would get for the price. It’s adorable and very soft. The colors are great as well as its face. It looks just like a blue jay. Great product

There is NOTHING to like about this blue jay. It is NOTHING like the picture portrays! It is awful. and the more I look at it, the angrier I get. I paid $10.00 for this piece of junk, and I'm sorry that I even bothered to take it out of the cheap bag it came in. I don't know how these people can get away with such blatant misrepresentation. You would not even think that the bird that was delivered was the same that was advertised on the internet. Why should I have to spend the time to return this crap? I should get two as a replacement just for putting up with the aggravation of getting the wrong item. I will NEVER order from this Rinky dink outfit again and I will be sure to tell all my friends to avoid it as well. They should be put out of business for mailing out this garbage.

They're pretty don't get me wrong. I've seen Blue Jays across the USA and know they're different colors in other areas of our Country. When my husband brought them to me I was busy, but the 1st thing I thought was "Wow these ARE NOT AT ALL like our Blue Jays!" On ours, the blue stands nice and bright. I got on Google to see if I could find pictures like these and what part of the country. I found some that were CLOSE in color. I'm glad I only bought three! Also, our Blue Jays are NOT fluffy! This is EXTREMELY fluffy!! Yes, I can fix with my scissors, but when I buy something I don't expect to have to fix it! I was so excited with these and how pretty they'd be for my project I didn't even read reviews which is something I always do. Oh well, lessened learned. Oh, I'm supposed to mention "value for money" "warmth" and "thickness". YES very thick with the fluffiness! I don't remember how I much I paid, but since I have to fix them, I'd say too much. No clue what they mean about "warmth". 🤔

So either the feathers were ruffled or it was made with down feathers. Either way, it needed a little TLC to make it look like a blue Jay once more. One area of the head had a dent in it which I had to cover up.

I ordered this little Blue Jay back in February of 2016, at less than half the cost of what it is listed for now. I hope that the price increase is reflected in the quality because my bird looks like it flew into a window or had some such accident.At less than four dollars, it wasn't worth returning and it isn't displayed where one would necessarily look really close, but if you do, it's poor quality is sadly clear. It's eyes are skewed, one higher than the other. It's feathers are more grey than blue and the white ones look very messy, poofy and won't lay straight. The black "paint" on it's breast, bill, and face appears to have been by a child, possibly a blind child. It looks like something you might get at a dollar store.It's sort of cute sitting on a nest in a floral arrangement that I have but only if you don't examine it closely. I would not order it again, especially at the current cost of nearly ten dollars.

Nicely made and perfect size for a wreath or centerpiece.

This was if nothing else the laufg of the day. Holy camoli.. from the beady eyes, the creepy realism of the painted tail feathers and the stick feet I thought I had unwrapped a dead bird. My cat actually grabbed it in the plastic bag and ran away with it. 🤣 Holy yucky.

It was terrible! Looked like it came from the Dollar Store....not even worth a dollar. Poor detail! Returned for refund.
