This is an awesome little kite and makes a perfect pilot or lifter for a bit of lightweight line laundry such as spinners or even a cute 6 foot ram-air kitty cat. Quality is quite good, as it is with most Fullfar products. I would suggest using braided 100lb test line for security.This little guy does have the ability to provide quite a bit of pull for its size so do keep that in mind in winds of ~10mph or so. The detachable tail is a long flow-tail design and serves to provide stability. It can be flown without the tail in lower winds around ~3 - ~5 mph but will sway quite a bit. Lower winds may need the tail removed but above ~5 it is a must to keep the little kite from misbehaving.I was flying him yesterday when a friend popped by to fly their new lion kite, the Fullfar match to the Panda, for the first time. They offered to anchor the Panda so I could select some line laundry but an ooopsie happened. I believe they misjudged the amount of pull this little panda could generate especially in gusts ... I heard a loud AARRRGGGH and saw them dashing across the field as Panda went fluttering away with its newfound freedom. Unfortunately, he went straight into the sea (Puget Sound) with line and reel in tow. He did float and within 20 minutes had made it to the shore of Jetty Island where kite surfers were enjoying the winds. Before long I could see him in the air and being enjoyed by a few children on the island. Panda has a new home and I'm happy with that.I'm placing an order for a replacement ... and received a nice, free meal from my distraught friend.I highly recommend this Panda kite and even the Lion version ... really any and all of the Fullfar products have been wonderful. If children are flying this kite I would suggest adult supervision and a backup anchor just in case a gust pulls too hard for tiny hands.

It's a wonderful kite, I'd say not only for children! :-DThe kite isn't very small, so it shows up well in the sky.For beginners: I suggest not to start it alone, do it together with a friend.Once it's up, it's very easy to fly and lot's of fun. I also own the tiger and the brown bear (which is a lot smaller and is easier to start alone) and I prefer colourwise the orange Tiger against a blue sky...

AWESOME Kite--great for novices, pros and children. Easier to launch and fly. Colorful and eye-catching parafoil kite that always draws a crowd. This kite is a smaller inexpensive version introduced to an American market from a company in China that produces those big beautiful gigantic flowing octopus kites that can be 1 to 3 "bus-lengths" long, costing hundreds of dollars, and needing a team of six people just to launch it! Bottom line: these guys REALLY KNOW HOW TO DESIGN GREAT KITES of ALL SHAPES & SIZES!!! For U.S. and U.K. customers wary of international purchases and nervous about doing business with China-based companies, I highly recommend this "Amazon internet retail sales route" which allows you to purchase a quality inexpensive parafoil kite from a pro kite design china based company, safely and with confidence. After experimenting with this smaller design...it is my plan to one day purchase one of the bigger more expensive 'whale sized' octopus kite designs from this company sometime in the future.

We flew this kite on 2 days at the beach. The first was light wind, and we couldn't keep the kite in the air. We wondered if it had too much tail for the wind velocity. The next day it was really windy and the kit flew really well. It was easy to control, as it just sits up there, but the pull was more than a small child could hold, in this wind. Years ago, when we were at the beach with the kids, we used to tie a kite off on some driftwood, and I wonder if this kite would be good to tie it or stake it down. This kite is well made, and appears to be durable.

Great kite, high quality rip stop nylon, appliques sewn on, heavy line and reel included. Comes in a very nice back-pack bag. This kite is fun, and its cute, with its ribbon tail, it is a real eye-catcher in the sky. Pulls like a truck so it would be a great sled/lifter for line laundry in a steady breeze. I love it. I own the Fullfar para-sail tiger as well, great flying companions to be sure. I look forward to this company selling another model.

This is a great buy. The fabric and the construction are high-level and the kite is packed in a strong bag and supplied with good braided kite line, not the cheap twisted line supplied with most kites. I'm very impressed and will look for more products from this company.

A traditionall FlowForm Kite in a new design. It is made in a good way and flies well. I like it and will have much fun. I for myself like tube-tails more and changed it.
