So when looking for a baby swing it probably took me a week to pick because I was definitely on the fence because every single swing has such mixed reviews! If you're on the fence, just do it. The colors are neutral light grey, tan, light blue, and slate blue.The seat: the cover and straps are easy to remove so it can be washed. My LO loves her swing and the cover doesn't show any wear after 3 months. It is a silty soft texture with a white minky feeling seat. YES it's WHITE but those 2 blowouts that happened washed right now! The bouncer seat can change from forward/side facing swing. Easy to remove rocker from base which Makes it easy to go to the bathroom or take to another room to get something done without being tempted to leave baby alone or dread having to take LO out for that quick bathroom trip just to wake them up. The height of the incline is great for adjusting with age. She started out in the more flat position and now sits all the way up. Vibrator requires batteries, so might as well start that stash now!The base is sturdy from what have experienced, but ours is on carpet. The width is about the same width as a pack and play so keep that in mind when ordering.Motor: ours has always been pretty quiet and it is easy to watch tv with it going in the background without any problem. You can hear it, but way quieter than a baby crying 😝 we received ours the day before my LO arrived and today it kicked the bucket, which caused me to mentally weep on the inside for a minute after doing all the trouble shooting (you're already invested so just keep reading to the end). I would buy this swing 100 times more and recommend it to all my friends having babies!Fisher Price Customer Service: Let me start by saying my entire call was 9 minutes. With a LO that's fussy and fighting nap time, that's AMAZING. The person I talked to was very nice, understanding, and listened to what was happening. We troubleshot again over the phone and after determining that the motor was to blame and the swing was still under warranty through just purchasing (you do not need to purchase the warranty). Since the motor piece itself wasnt available, a brand new entire swing is on the way with an email receipt of the claim number and waiting for the shipment email. She even did expedited shipping! Very happy and so will baby when her new swing gets here.

Over the years I have purchased 9 baby swings so I do know what I’m looking for. I bought this one for my grandson that won’t be here till August. Obviously, we haven’t seen it in action yet but by everything I’ve seen so far, I highly recommend!!I will check back later but I feel safe in saying this swing is as advertised and I believe my grandson & I (not to mention mommy and daddy😉) are going to be very happy with it!!!Good Luck to you and the little bundle of love you are shopping for💕

Have had this swing for approx. 1 yr now and it's still going strong. My baby is 14 months now and although she's over the weight limit, I still put her in it because she still loves it; and who am I not to use a product that works getting a tired baby to sleep?? ...... Can I get an Amen?!?Prior to buying this particular swing, we bought this Graco swing (pictures posted.) While assembling the Graco swing, we immediately saw the lack of quality; it was a flimsy plastic and the music was staticy and horrible. It also only swung the one way vs this Fisher Price swing, which swings both directions. We sent it back and found this Fisher Price Swing and will never look back. But I did want to spread the good word about it. Even though it's pricey, it's worth it!! Sturdy metal, can hold my huge baby, music is crystal clear and is plenty loud (you can adjust volume as well). Buttons are "touch" not "push-in" but they are such good quality you'll never have to worry about it breaking (unless you have a toddler that takes a hammer to it or something?)IT DOES take up a lot of space though, beware! Only because it needs the room to maneuver both directions. But if you have the space to spare, then BUY BUY BUY.My sister-in-law is also always saying she can never get her baby to sleep, but whenever she comes over, I INSIST she put her baby in the swing and INSTANTLY he sleeps for HOURS at a time. (At home, she says her baby will only sleep 15-20 mins at a time). Anyways....there ya go....

I really liked this swing. It was quiet. It was soft. It was sturdy. Then after about three weeks of light use (not even daily use) with my 7lb newborn, the motor just stopped functioning. We returned it.

Gives us a break from holding the baby all day. One of the few places he likes.

Updates: I called customer service after not getting any response for 3 weeks and they sent a new swing immediately. Call them instead of sending an email through website.-----------------We bought it in May and my baby was born in Aug. When we tried to use it for him after 1 month, mobile and swing motors didn't work and the touch screen lights were gone. Only music works. I contacted customer service a week ago and didn't get any response yet. My baby is now 2 month old and he will be soon too old for this swing and I am afraid of wasting my money and ended up not using it at all after paying almost $150.

This swing is practically perfect. It’s super easy to put together, and move around. The bouncer just lifts off and clicks back in much easier than I expected. The bouncer is also really lightweight which is nice. Our newborn loves it. It has plenty of swing speeds and sounds you can play. We actually haven’t used the vibration because that part takes batteries and it just hasn’t been necessary. If I could change one thing it would be to make an even slower speed than the lowest setting. I think it was just a bit too fast at first, but our 1 month old has already started liking it. Before she just liked it while sitting still listening to the music.
