I actually passed over less expensive gloves thinking I was getting a better deal with these because I needed a pair of gloves at work and at home. Calling it a 2 pack is misleading. Misunderstanding or deceit? You decide.

Bought these for wood working - if I hadn't I would have some pretty good injuries by now - even resisted the fine band saw!

As a new woodcarver cuts are a natural part of the learning process... especially as the knives and gouges used are so very sharp. These gloves have saved my fingers! The day they arrived I wore the while working on a new project, and of course my knife slipped and went right across my thumb and 1st finger. This SHOULD have been a nasty cut it SHOULD have been deep and bleeding... I sat for a minute in mild shock waiting for the blood to soak through the glove, but nothing.... NOTHING! I pilled the glove off thinking the cut was still closed and I could bandage it up before the blood... again nothing, not a scratch not even a red mark where the blade hit the fingers.If you are a woodcarver you need these gloves. I bought an extra pair just to keep in my carving box.

Decent quality. My husband is a butcher and had a very serious accident at work a few years ago. After being on workers comp for 8 months due to surgeries he was very nervous to return to work so we've ordered these a couple times since to give him a bit of protection. They help to keep his hands warm as well which really helps as he works in basically a cooler with very cold meat. These won't protect you from a saw and you can cut through them. They aren't going to completely protect you, but they do add some defense. They certainly can minimize small Knicks and cuts.

I bought these to protect myself while learning to whittle. They do a good job of protecting my hands from cuts from my very sharp knife. My only complaint is that the fibers tend to snag on rough areas and splinters and the chips stick to them as well. The snagging gets worse the more you use them. They do the job but this may get pretty annoying the longer I use them. I may have to look for some that don’t get so fuzzy with use.

I use these gloves when I use a rotary cutter to cut fabric for my quilt making. I've had a few times where I could have nicked myself with the blade when I feel the gloves saved my fingers. Very satisfied with the purchase.

I got the small and it's a perfect fit. I've only ever used men's gloves that were too big and bulky with excess material. These fit my hands snuggly and I ran a carving knife across the finger with no damage to the glove or my finger. Overall, exceptionally pleased with these gloves.
